Exit quote: “In his prophetic novel, 1984, George Orwell perfectly described Haley, Styx and all the rest of these female fascists: ‘It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and the nosers-out of unorthodoxy.’”

Thanks, and an extra dose of thanks.

Years ago, the uber-liberal female mayor of Tampa forbade police chases. Yuppie types took to ramming police cars in reverse, the fleeing. After a huge amount of damage and loss the mayor (amazingly) changed the policy. The police let the local news ride along to video the results. In one video, after the cops Pitmaned a car of fleeing teenagers, a young, cute blond girl was being led away in handcuffs. In tears she screamed, “You’re not playing fair! You’re not supposed to chase us!” The problem with rioters is they were allowed.

I suppose it’s worth something, but I don’t know how $750 to a bondsman is so onerous and painful.
Perhaps a conviction with 6 months in the county jail and a $10,000 fine would be a fair start. But I don’t think the bail number described counts for much unless there’s something here I’m missing.

captures the exact moment when alleged hippie rioter Haley Macintyre finally learns, at age 24, that even a pampered Beautiful Person with a fashionable neck tattoo can still suffer adverse consequences for a violent, unprovoked assault on working people. Reminds me of when I was 24. I was in the Air Force stationed in England and authorized to release F-4D aircraft for flight previously grounded for instrument problems.
I'd bet most people on this forum were not in jail when they were 24 but doing something useful.

the judge had just slapped a $7,500 bail Yep.
These judges are "slapping" harsh bail on dangerous criminals like this one:
Judge Sets $5,000 Bond for Illegal Alien Charged With Raping Teen Girl in South Dakota
"A previously-deported illegal alien was ordered held on just $5,000 cash bond for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl in South Dakota this week."
Now compare that with judges "slapping" no bail on the J-6ers.
Anyone see a problem with this?
Not if you're a brain-dead Biden or Mamdani voter.
