A new poll shows the Virginia gubernatorial race tightening, with Republican Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears cutting into Democrat Abigail Spanberger’s lead and bringing the contest within just a few points.
The latest A2 Insights poll shows Earle-Sears trailing Spanberger by just three points.
The survey, conducted between September 26-28, found Spanberger at 48 percent and Earle-Sears at 45 percent—the narrowest margin in months.

Winsome Sears has been calling Spanberger out on her many unpopular 80%-20% positions, and it seems to be finally getting some traction. Any Virginians out there, please try to get the word out that Spanberger is vulnerable on almost any cultural issue. Be it DEI, Trans accomodations, men in girl’s sports and locker rooms, she is way off the deep end.

It would be even better if at least $10 million showed up in Sears’ campaign account no later than the end of the week. She is being vastly outspent.
Winning in Virginia, which has continued to trend blue, is an uphill battle and this is an off year election with the GOP the party in power, making it even more of a steep climb. And so far Spanberger has not made an error like openly claiming parents should have no say in their children’s education like McAuliffe did.
Things are now looking much better for the GOP in NJ as well. The Charlie Kirk effect?
Usually the polls are skewed to favor the Dems.

Donks have been touting wins in several off year elections, but those were local nothing-burger elections.

She’ll need that much just to catch up with Spamburger’s out of state donations. That’s what ticks me off. I don’t like the idea of extreme left-wing Dims from California or New York influencing our elections here in Virginia.
Local elections are not “nothing burgers”, it’s where they do the most damage, especially school boards.
300,000 federal workers in northern VA guarantees a Spanberger victory.
As a Virginian please know the coast and DC/Richmond liberals and transplants are the problem. Pretty much everyone west of there votes red. Just look at a voting map. Looks like America. The entire heartland red and blue around the miserable big city areas.
Let’s hope not but I just posted something similar. Transplant ruin everything.

Yes, I agree. I would love to see Trump hold a rally in Virginia and list off all Spanberger’s indefensible woke, anti woman,DEI positions.
