Sometimes I wish we could use emojis in headlines, because I would have used the "laughing guy" one for this story.
Some news just makes me laugh out loud, you see, especially ones that involve Democrat infighting. Especially during a dark time like this, when so many are acting like soulless ghouls in the wake of the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk.
Whenever I read about a Dem internal spat, I smile because I think, “You guys deserve each other. And all your toxicity.”
In New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul took the risk of endorsing democrat socialist Zohran Mamdani for mayor, even though so far her spineless Empire State colleagues like Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have refused to do so. Was Zohran grateful? Did he immediately do something nice for her?
Nope:
Zohran Mamdani refused to back Gov. Kathy Hochul for re-election after she gave the lefty Democratic mayoral nominee her coveted endorsement.
Hochul on Sunday endorsed Mamdani in the November mayoral race, claiming to have found common ground with the democratic socialist, including on the issue of affordability.
But Mamdani on Monday declined to return the favor, and did not pledge his backing of Hochul’s re-election bid next year — at least for the time being.
Why not? You may ask. It just wasn’t the right time, the winner of the Democrat nomination for mayor said. Right, Mamdani; we believe you.
He told reporters it was premature to ask about “the thing beyond the thing.” [Sounds like a Kamala Harris quote.]
“My focus is on November, and I’m excited to have the governor’s support in that fight for November,” Mamdani said.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY)—who has reportedly been thinking about her own possible gubernatorial bid—took a victory lap:
Even Mamdani refuses to support Kathy Hochul less than 24 hours after she endorsed him! https://t.co/R3HnvTR9DA— Elise Stefanik (@EliseStefanik) September 16, 2025
Yiatin Chu of the citywide group Asian Wave Alliance summed it up nicely: “Hochul got played.”
YOU DESERVE EACH OTHER: 'Chris Van Who?' Dems' Infighting Explodes As Schumer, Jeffries Hold Off on Endorsing Socialist Mamdani
Zohran Mamdani's CNN Interview Was So Moronic That Even Abby Phillip Couldn't Let It Slide
“Comrade Kathy” chose to throw in with an extremist, and she’s already paying the price. All Democrats should take note: Mamdani will be all toothy smiles when he needs you, but when you need him, evidently, you just might see him turning the other way.
By elevating Zohran Mamdani, Kathy Hochul showed where she stands. Not with cops, commuters, or working families, but with an extreme agenda that drives up costs and drives out common sense. New York deserves better.

As I said, Dem infighting can be good theater, but there’s also a sobering reality behind it all. Zohran Mamdani stands a very good chance of winning the general election in November, and the thought of him as mayor of one of America’s (still but barely) greatest cities is galling, to say the least.
In the meantime, Hochul is going to need some towels to wipe all that egg off her face.
Why does this make sense?
NEW YORK CITY — Zohran Mamdani, winner of New York City’s mayoral Democratic primary, has vowed to knock down the One World Trade Center in order to build more affordable housing. Mamdani admitted that taking down the popular tower was something of a political suicide mission, but he remained undeterred.
“We will not allow the wealthy capitalist elite to hijack our city,” said Mamdani. “As mayor, I promise to take this problem head on by bringing down One World Trade Center and putting cheap, government-controlled apartments in its place. I understand that people believe this initiative could really blow up...

Kathy Hochul is a full on blithering idiot. Momdani is just a smiling, communist Islamic hellbent on destroying America starting with NY.
Hochul sold her soul to the devil for votes.
Mamdani:
The candy you sent me wasn’t certified free trade. And no seal showing it was single origin chocolate.
The allegedly organic flowers weren’t labelled by a reputable organic certifier like the Soil Association.
And the cash for my campaign wasn’t laundered. Hunter Biden should teach you about that.
There was a quid pro quo but the Hamas schmuck didn’t live up to his end of the bargain serves the evil b*tch right for trusting sinwars better half
He's not kidding anyone. He'll probably throw his hat in the ring for Governor next year.
From a strictly tactical p.o.v., Mamdani should first get himself elected - then his endorsement of Hochul in the later gubernatorial election would do maximum good.
Regards,
IF, and its a big if, he can fix New York City, clean it up and establish law and order—he should run for Governor. Communists can be ruthless in establishing order.
Maybe if Kathy started wearing a burka he would endorse her.
A muslim extremist dude won’t back a kafir woman candidate.
From which we learn not to cut deals with a conman.
moohamedandi doesn’t like camels?
Madmani isn’t going to vote for her. He’s going to put her butt in a Burka and tell her to sit down and shut up.
He’s going to implement sharia law and order. I’m betting he’s going to implement burka requirements. LGTBQ+ is going to love this guy. /s
Whether he does or not, it appears he won’t endorse one
