Robinson is currently being held without bail in the Utah County jail and will make his first court appearance Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
CBS News quoted Utah County Attorney Gray saying, “Charlie Kirk was murdered while engaging in one of our most sacred and cherished American rights, the bedrock of our democratic republic, the free exchange of ideas and the search for truth, understanding and a more perfect union.” Breitbart News reported that FBI director Kash Patel indicated Robinson left behind a note confirming he had an opportunity to kill Kirk.

And what of his furry roommate? His compatriots?
“Aggravated murder is an elevated form of murder characterized by specific elements or circumstances that make the crime more serious than basic murder. It typically involves premeditation or a specific intent to kill, as well as the intent to inflict serious bodily harm. Aggravated murder is often classified as a second-degree felony, reflecting a higher level of culpability compared to regular murder. The penalties for aggravated murder can be severe, often resulting in harsher sentences than those for standard murder.”
I encourage everyone to listen to the District Attorney who read the charging documents. It answers many of the questions that have been posed by FReepers.

Meh. They seek the death penalty
With the sentence to be carried out in 2057.
BTTT
Mandate firing squad using the same rifle.
Death PENALTY? Justice. It’s unfortunate that innocent murdered victims could not turn the tables on their killers.
I wonder how many on this forum will die or old age before they ever execute this guy. The governor, the lawyers, judges, prosecutors etc., need milk this event for years to come to ensure maximum facetime, notoriety, run for higher office, write books etc...
UTAH ALSO DOES NOT HAVE “GRAND JURY” USAGE...
HE IS NOW “IN THE SYSTEM”
Charlie would want the guy to really confess, repent and receive the Holy Spirit, and accept Christ, much as Paul did.
The guy’s evil buddies would prefer he keep going the defense attorney route and never repent. Very few individuals, even when they say they have regrets, are truly courageous enough to confess and throw it all on God and let him sort it out. The temptation is great and fear more often drives the sinner to dig in deeper rather than come clean, looking to defense attorneys and pleas and negotiation instead of God.
This guy probably still thinks he is a leftwing hero that will have libs everywhere protesting for him like with Mumia. Is he going to choose to be a Mumia or a Paul? Doesn’t look like he is asking for prayers, but looks are deceiving. He might be askiby himself now, where are all his friends? No riots in his name, no protests at the jailhouse. They’re all working on covering their own butts.
Stats say average death row wait time in Utah is 34 years, so yeah, he’ll be around a long time.
Maybe that’s why Dad turned him in, knowing that, he didn’t want his boy shooting himself in the head when cornered.
DO NOT BET ANY $$$ ON THAT.
My thought too as don’t they have to allow a certain amount of time passes to make room for appeals?
LOL...you’re breaking my heart! 😊
Hey...I apologized 😂
