“If mayors can’t keep their trains and buses safe, they don’t deserve the taxpayers’ money,” Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Sean Duffy said, making it clear that the DOT is investigating the devastating Charlotte stabbing.

“I stand firm with President Trump’s message of zero tolerance for criminality, especially on our federal DOT funded public transportation,” Duffy said on X.

Prior to the 1960s and the progressive/left Fed.gov money spigot, “inverse condemnation” and “mob action” laws, under eminent domain, existed where local citizens could SUE cities for damages from riots, vagrancy, and organized crime, where it could be proven government’s bad political choices or failure to act to led to taking or destruction of private property.

Thus one had police forces on patrol, actively preventing crime, with far greater latitude to use force - BECAUSE city governments could be financially liable.

Of course, the incentives behind these laws aligned with our views of morality, justice and common sense at the time.

These laws were generally removed or declared unconstitutional by Courts in the progressive 1960s and beyond.

Today the incentives for government are OPPOSITE of morality and common sense.

A government which does not protect its women from rape and/or murder, is illegitimate.

It has failed of its essential purpose.

Q: What are the difference in the odds of back and white races murdering each other according to FBI statistics?

Grok:

The rate of black offenders murdering white victims was about 1.28 per 100,000 black population.

The rate of white offenders murdering black victims was about 0.098 per 100,000 white population.

This means black individuals were roughly 13 times more likely to murder a white individual than white individuals were to murder a black individual, on a per capita basis.
