The Left is now about coercing people to say things that are obviously false (e.g. that guy is a "woman" and you MUST use the correct pronouns and pretend they are a "woman" or face the consequences).

When people have been trained to advocate obvious falsehoods through coercion, it is easier to coerce them to go along with obviously bad policy.
