Such a sad picture. My heart breaks for Charlie’s parents.
Charlie Kirk did have an amazing voice. Not only was his voice quality very pleasant, but it was also non-abrasive and non-offensive. Few people could engage in the kind of debates he did without getting a little bit abrasive, especially when dealing with a complete jerk. Charlie could and did.
Got a report a while ago on the flooding in Globe/Miami from my BIL.
He said there are 20 people who are missing, hope they are found safe.
2 teenage girls came out of La Casita downtown and were swept away by the water, each were able to get on top of cars until they were rescued.
The Ford dealership had cars float away.
Of course, they aren’t venturing out as they have enough to clean up at their place.
The water and mud flooded their patio, BIL’s Man Cave, SIL’s storage room, the garage, the carport, back and front yard.
It’s going to take a while to get out the mud and dry out what can be saved.
Watching all the videos on YouTube shows one that both towns are quite a mess.
Prayers up for all who have been impacted by this horrendous storm.
Waiting for the rains to begin again here.

Last night they had a deluge of rain in Big Bear Lake, just about an hour from us...but nothing here.

There is a lot of road flooding and cars stuck in the water. Most of the places had no warning signs. A fire engine even got stuck from the flooded roads. I think it was mostly in Scottsdale We have had a whole summer of monsoon in 2 days.
How is it in Lakeside and Pinetop?
Yes, we got a lot of rain which started Friday afternoon, all day yesterday and a little bit today.
Mu hubby’s hometown was really hit hard, with terrible flooding.
We are just really wet but no flooding in our area.

My hubby’s hometown of Globe AZ, Miami AZ, and Claypool AZ all flooded on Thur. night and Friday.
Hubby has been in contact with family and friends who live there.
Everyone is safe but they all got flood damage.
