So many of the greats....including Judge.
Really enjoy watching him play.
We’ve been to several games, at Yankee Stadium ... even took the tour of all of the Yankee legends.
Went to the original āHouse That Ruth Builtā when i was a wee lad.
Awestruck
Gehrigā¦. Lazzeri⦠Ruthā¦Mantle⦠Maris⦠Fordā¦
History there.
Also Went to Connie Mack Stadium, before they tore it down. It was already closed as a ballpark.
My old dentist had a whole row of seats that he scrounged when they were demoing the stadium. They were in the waiting room.

Charlieās children will be raised with stories instead of memories, photographs instead of laughter, and silence where their fatherās voice should have echoed.
Charlie Kirkās life should serve as a symbolic reminder that compassionate awareness elevates family, love, and country.

I’m A Yankees fan for life now. And that’s pretty significant considering I’m from KC! That was an awesome thing for them to do.

This isnāt my strong suit and I donāt even know how to begin to put into words the loss I am feeling right now over the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Charlie wasnāt just a friend ā he was like a little brother to me - and to millions of people around the world - he was a true inspiration.
He was one of the most courageous, principled men Iāve ever known, and he lived every day with purpose. His faith in God was unshakable, his love for Erika was inspiring, and the way he adored and cared for his two beautiful kids showed the kind of man he truly was.
Charlie dedicated his life to something bigger than himself. He fought tirelessly for this country, for the values that make America great, and for the next generation. The impact he had on young people ā reaching them in masses, giving them courage to stand up, to think for themselves, and to fight for freedom ā is immeasurable. There is no question that Charlieās work and his voice helped my father win the presidency. He changed the direction of this nation.
Charlie was never a threat to anyone. He was civil, he was kind, he listened and responded with respect. The only āthreatā he ever posed was that he was incredibly effective. He was a powerful messenger of truth, and people heard that truth. Thatās what made him a target.
This loss is absolutely devastating ā not only for Erika and the kids, but for our country. Weāve lost a leader, a fighter, and a man whose character and conviction were rare. Too rare. To think that his life was cut short by a brutal, heinous, evil act is beyond comprehension. It is horrible and it is heartbreaking.
Moments like this remind us just how fragile life is. We canāt wait to tell people how much they mean to us ā we canāt admire them in silence. Charlie knew he was loved, but I want to say it again: he was a brother to me, and I will carry that with me forever.
I know Charlieās legacy doesnāt end here. He poured into millions of young people who will carry forward the torch he lit. He built something that will outlast him, because it was grounded in faith, in truth, and in courage. And as his friend, I will never forget him. Iāll honor him by loving boldly, speaking truth without fear, and continuing his spirit of courage. His fight lives on in all of us who loved him.
This is an unimaginable loss. For me, for his family, for everyone who loved him, and for America. Rest in peace, brother. You will be missed more than words can ever say ā but your legacy will never be forgotten and we will keep fighting the good fight.

I have never told this story publicly before:
When my own family faced real danger, my home damaged by fire, bullets flying on our block, my infant child and wife under threat, Charlie Kirk literally gave us his house to stay in as long as we needed as we searched for a new place to live in Florida. We were there for months. Charlie never asked for a thing in return.
I have a home in Florida and a thriving, growing family because of Charlie Kirk.
Thatās the type of man he was.
Multiply that by millions of young lives, and you see the force he was.
We must carry forward his mission.

Re: ā⦠he was a true inspiration...ā
Which is EXACTLY why the Left MURDERED him.
Help please. There was a statement from some lawmaker named Freise I believe. It scolled past a little bit ago, i read it, agreed with it and now I can’t find it by scrolling down.
Dennis Prager

As an American, as a Jew, and as Dennis, I am devastated at the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The truth is, as I write these words, I canāt believe I am writing them. I am in the denial stage of mourning.
As an American, we have lost the most articulate spokesman for America and its unique value systemāa country founded to be free, based on Jerusalem and Athens, the Judeo-Christian value system and the Greek emphasis on logic and reason. Charlie was a uniquely gifted individual who, in his teens, created the largest movement of young Americans committed to preserving and growing America and its ideals. He tirelessly went from campus to campus, from Oxford to Utah, dialoging with any student who wished to debate him. Using his vast reservoir of facts and his exceptionally speedy and articulate mind, he gave them what seemed to be unlimited amounts of time, and then calmy eviscerated all their anti-American, anti-Western, and anti-Judeo-Christian positions. I watched an inordinate number of these exchanges and thanked God that Charlie Kirk was there to do this work. Americaās youth in particular have lost a moral and intellectual leader, one who would, perhaps, have one day become their president.
As a committed Jew, I thank God regularly that a non-Jew, a committed Christian, became one of the few great public spokesmen on behalf of Israel the Jewish communities outside of Israel. Few Jews could match Charlieās knowledge and eloquent arguments on behalf of those two entities.
As Dennis, I have lost a very close friend. Charlie repeatedly visited me in the various hospitals that I have been in since November 12 of last year, when I suffered a catastrophic fall which has left me paralyzed. When members of the nursing staff heard that Charlie Kirk was visiting me, my room became the most popular one in the hospital. Charlie brought me the manuscript of his forthcoming book arguing that everyoneāChristians as well as Jewsāshould observe Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath, just as he and his family had begun to do from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. It is a measure of our close relationship that he dedicated the book to me. His brilliant exposition of these arguments provide clear evidence for the non-necessity of a college education for most young Americans.
My heart breaks for his young widow, Erika, and for his two children, who have lost as great a man and a father as children can have. And for Charlie, who did not live to see them grow up. For one of the first times in my 20 years with my wife, Sue, I have seen her sob uncontrollably. The Prager home is in deep mourning, as are the homes of countless Americans. The loss to us personally and to the country generally is immeasurable.

I was just watching a "reel" (or whatever they're called on Facebook) of excerpts from Charlie's campus appearances. As Don Jr. said, he would listen and respond with respect to anyone, then calmly answer--often to people who were argumentative and hostile--in a way that would disarm them and open their eyes to a different point of view. What an amazing gift he had.

His speaking voice reminded me, sometimes, of Paul Harvey.
A wonderfully poignant message honoring Charlie, by Dennis.
Thanks for posting.
They need to lose their broadcasting license, this is not enough ...
