My heart is shattered.
My dear friend Charlie Kirk was taken from us. He was assassinated in front of the young people he devoted his life to empowering. At just 31, he built the greatest grassroots movement in American history and brought millions into the fight for our nation.
Charlie was fearless and had the sharpest political instincts of anyone I’ve ever met, and he used them to shape a movement that will outlast him.
He loved Jesus Christ above all and adored his beautiful wife, Erika, and their two precious babies. That was his greatest joy.
This was a sick, depraved act — but Charlie’s legacy will not die with him. The next generation of American leaders will carry his torch. He fought for this country with his last breath, and his fight will never be in vain.
Rest in peace, Charlie. We will never forget you.

Rush Limbaugh showed several generations of Americans that they were not the only ones who held conservative values, that there were many people like them throughout the country. He was especially important to people who lived in blue states (which were called red states back then before the media switched them about the year 2000.).
One of the big differences between Rush Limbaugh and Charlie Kirk was that while Rush was sarcastic and bombastic sometimes, Charlie Kirk was never insulting or nasty in any way. I loved listening to his podcast.

Once again, a bullet has silenced the most eloquent truth teller of an era. My dear friend Charlie Kirk was our country’s relentless and courageous crusader for free speech. We pray for Erika and the children. Charlie is already in paradise with the angels. We ask his prayers for our country.
I beg to differ on Rush ,he was humorous with a big truth about democrats and RINOS!
Charlie was inviting all to debate his Christian faith and this appealed to many in the younger crowd that were mocked at their own schools by their peers and liberal professors.
I’m of the opinion the two men of different styles appealed to those in their audience were massive and wanted to hear them speak as they were.
What a beautiful and most powerful message on this dark day, from our dear POTUS.
