While placing photos of the 50 hostages on posts at the park, masked attackers reportedly sprayed the people attending the event with red paint.
Members of Germany’s Jewish community were attacked with red paint while hosting an event on Friday evening in Gruneburgpark to commemorate the remaining 50 hostages being held by Hamas, according to German media reports.
While placing photos of the 50 hostages on posts at the park, masked attackers reportedly sprayed the people attending the event with red paint.
Sacha Stawski, the president of Honestly Concerned, an organization combating antisemitism, told Bild that he saw a masked woman spray two tubes of paint on multiple men, including himself.
“The paint also poured over my glasses, making it difficult for me to recognize the perpetrator,” he said.
“We had previously been in the park for a cross-party walkabout organized by the local CDU [Christian Democratic Union] chapter,” Stawski said, speaking about a previous incident. “We were repeatedly pushed aside and prevented from leaving by a group of about 20 to 30 people, some of them masked. A man who was there with his son called the police.”
Camp spokesperson Sebastian Blessing told the site he was unaware of the incident and claimed, “We continue to have no problem showing solidarity with the Gaza hostages. But we also don’t understand why our event is repeatedly disrupted.”
Blessing claimed that two people from the camp had been physically attacked over the past week.
Germany, Germany, Germany..... I’m sure the perpetrators were just some mild misguided Lutherans.
We did Nazi this coming in Germany. Better tape up their shop windows!
Precisely.
The "Palestinian" campaign is all about politics and their simple view that the State of Israel's founding and continuing existence is a "catastrophe," a "nabka." And in the view of the Dar al Harb mentality, this is a "war." Jews and Christians also are targets, but so will be those "nice" secular liberals who think things can be managed....
Indeed.
And a small anecdote. When we were legal residents of Germany, too often Arab Muslims had been aggressive, to the point of alarm. We avoided some locales for it. In Neukölln, a non-Jew tried out wearing a kippah on the street, and was spat on. Quite a quick lesson in "tolerance" and "multi-culti" policies.
Germany's Angela Merkel: Multiculturalism has 'utterly failed' Christian Science Monitor, Oct. 17, 2010.Fifteen years ago, and yet today's European "leaders" are still promoting this lunacy. Worse times are ahead.
The red paint phenomenon began right after Oct 7. It’s rather a pro genocidal Hamas intimidation
A commemoration is nonviolent.
That means the people are in danger from stronger and more powerful people who disdain nonviolence.
RE: Masked Arab Muslims. Cowards.
....but I repeat myself.
——Nod to Mark Twain.
Hitler, there was a painter. He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon, two coats!
They imported mass quantities of the Jews enemy, and wonder how this is happening. Hint.... Muslims, especially radical fundamentalists.
