President Trump on Monday did not rule out sending U.S. troops to Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping force if a potential peace deal between Kyiv and Moscow can be reached. “We’ll let you know that, maybe later today,” Mr. Trump said during an Oval Office meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Mr. Trump’s refusal to rule out the idea of U.S. boots on the ground in Ukraine is a potential major shift in his policy towards Ukraine as the war-torn nation considers security guarantees to be essential for any peace agreement. Mr. Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday to seek an end to the war.

Exactly!
Did you read the rationale for the response? That’s a rhetorical question because there is no way you can infer the post to support boots on the ground.
I never said I wanted endless war, just that Xi and Putin having troops in Mexico is a ridiculous and b unfeesible.
This is what the zeepers are trembling and panting about. 😄
“We’ll let you know that, maybe later today,” Mr. Trump said…
“Did you read the rationale for the response?”
Yes I did. What we call it or how we view it means absolutely nothing and is completely irrelevant.
How RUSSIA views it is... We can try to lie all we want and call it something else but Russia is not going to fall for the lie and will never see it the same way we do.
Boots on the Ground WILL be taken as a threat of aggression by the U.S. Same way we did when Russia came into Cuba...
Per latest news. No American troops
Like Korea?
Liz Cheney will lead the “force”. Maybe Dick can help too.
But, I couldn't give a hoot if the Europeans want their troops coming back in body bags in Ukraine so long as Americans aren't.
You, on the other hand, apparently don't have problem with Americans being killed in the Ukrainian hellhole.
C’mon man! After UKR’s knocked their resources down the last few years we could be in Vladivostok in 3 weeks - 4 weeks tops if you hand out food (and vodka) to the locals.
You know what kind of pristine hardwoods they got on the backside of the Urals? Man, I could make some great new kitchen and dining room tables with that stuff. Just imagine the patina of 300 year old spruce, ash and pine. You can’t get that stuff anymore!
Why in hell would place troops in harm's way by doing that?
But I thought that Russia was peaceful, that they would not attack Ukraine again. So what is the danger?
Trump never even implied boots on the ground.
The Washington Times put that idea forth in their made up article-read it. Pres Trump said no such thing-in fact he said Ukraine had to give up on Crimea and on NATO-he said it more than once in different venues. No more of our weapons for free and none of our troops for that grifter’s ego boosting war. The Euro gang says it will support Zelinsky with their own weapons and troops-but they want some US weapons, too-they are going to have to buy them, just like any other country does. We are apparently done giving stuff away free. Neocons are out of power and favor-al fin-and it’s a good thing, as Martha Stewart would say... ..
“apparently don’t have problem with Americans being killed in the Ukrainian hellhole.”
Know what I think? I think some of these folks who support war see this as some kind of damned Football game we have to win. I don’t think they are intelligent enough to realize that this is not a game at all and it is played for keeps...
We need pictures of guts and gore spread all over the place to demonstrate how bloody and cruel this football game really is... They have no visual concept of the reality of war at all... It is just a game they think we have to win.
Again, people panicking before anything happens.
Everyone panic!
Panican again?
Your post makes too much sense, panicking is easier.
