She will sue with the NAACP’s blessing, claiming racism. Conservatives need to change the Voting Rights Act to change the states with preclearance requirements to leftist states that gerrymander to appease their largest cities.
She won’t be leaving until the next election.
I think Stacey Abrams and Jasmine Crockett will have to fight it out for the top spot. They probably don’t want two black women because they have other interest groups to pander to. Maybe Dylan Mulvaney to appeal to the LGBT pressure group. Or to attract male voters—Hunter Biden or Taylor Swift.

Representatives do not need to live in districts they represent, but they do need to live in the state. Dividing the geographic area of her base and assigning each part to larger GOP areas is great if courts allow.

Here on the plantation of Newsom the Vile, a few years ago the state legislature established a commission (to "protect the people" doncha know) so that the governor can't just re-district the few areas where the GOP still exists. But today Newsom the Vile asked the legislature to "temporarily disband" the commission and return redistricting authority to California's Democrat/Communist Politburo.
This is how things work in a state where the opposition party to communism has effectively been outlawed.

Her seat is not eliminated. Texas has the same number of districts as they did yesterday.
Her district will be redrawn so she is no longer living in her district. She can choose to move back into her district or just run for reelection.
This happens every time there is a redistricting and is not unusual. There is no requirement that you have to live in the district you represent.
Maxine Waters does not live in her district as do some other House reps.
