The University of California must reconsider its policy barring students living in the country illegally from on-campus jobs because the practice is discriminatory, a state appeals court ruled this week.
The court also said UC’s policy violates California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act because refusing to hire students who lack work authorization is discrimination based on immigration status.

The inversion of reality goes on unabated here in Alta Califas. A California "court" says that federal law against hiring illegal aliens is discrimination based on immigration status. Next week, they'll rule that borders of the US are un-Constitutional, as is citizenship. Even more fun are the comments of the arrogant illegals pushing this crap, who claim that it's unjust to not hire them. You gotta live here to experience the insanity.

A California "court" says that federal law against hiring illegal aliens is discrimination based on immigration status. It is discrimination on the basis of immigration status (illegals are NOT immigrants). It also happens to be legally REQUIRED discrimination against hiring illegal aliens.

Being here illegally is not an immigration status. It is an absence of immigration status.

Yeah. They have used the courts to try to define away the crime - it’s now just “status”. As if it’s just another immigration pathway.
Standard tactic of the Left. Simply change the label, soften it up - it’s not murder, it’s “unplanned life termination”.
They never quit, even with the Feds coming after them full throttle.
