Damned embarrassment for an army base to go on lockdown. There should be large numbers of soldiers there armed at all times. In every single command, every shot, every office. There should be no place that an attacker wouldn’t meet immediate resistance

Thats because in todays woke military, service members are not trusted with firearms and ammo outside of ranges and war zones.

Yeah, that’s what I don’t get. Why is the military of all places on lockdown? Why does the Army need law enforcement to deal with the threat?

Could be a disgruntled Joe during PT formation. Hard to defend against someone hell bent on mass murder.

Why is the military of all places on lockdown?

Because the soldiers cannot be trusted with ready access to firearms.

That problem has been many decades in the making. It will not be easy to fix.

Do any personnel have firearms with mags full of ammo? Last I heard, they all were prohibited from carrying REAL guns and ammo.

I said that after Nidal Hasan at Fort Hood.

My nephew was in that very building just the day before for out-processing.

I was building some buildings for the Army at Leonard Wood a dozen years back. A bank robber from Oklahoma crossing Missouri took a highway spur by accident and it ended at an entry gate. As his long guns were laying on the back seat he decided to run the gate. The pop-up barrier was being worked on so he drove right in. The was a MO sheriff convention on the fort that day. It was like kicking a hornet’s nest. He off the fort and got taken in a fire fight.

Every shop. Every office, every activity should have an armed soldier. But the zeros and ring knockers would never allow that.
Interior garden duty is a very basic function of a military unit. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry when the army have to call the police.

Who is the shooter? A “free Palestine” import? If that’s the case B.Hussein Obama would call it “workplace violence” by now
