Something big is happening up in Minneapolis, folks. There’s this fellow, Omar Fateh, who’s looking to become the next mayor. Now, he’s not your regular candidate. He’s a Somali American who calls himself a democratic socialist, and he’s got some unusual plans for the city.
Fateh wants Minneapolis to resist Donald Trump and become a “safe haven” for transgender surgeries. He’s got ideas like cracking down on police and making sure the city stays a sanctuary for illegal immigrants and things like abortions and transgender healthcare. And he’s planning to spend a lot of taxpayer money to do it.
This man doesn’t like the police much at all. He’s known for criticizing them since the George Floyd riots in 2020. Instead of police, Fateh wants to send non-police people to handle almost half of the 911 calls and have more control over the police department with something called a Civil Rights Department.
He even wants to stop the police from working with ICE. He says our residents need a mayor who will stand up to Trump.
Fateh wants to freeze rents and build more cheap housing, especially for groups he says are at risk. And he plans to bump up the city’s minimum wage to $20 by 2028. To pay for it all, he’s thinking about starting a city income tax to make the wealthy pay more.
He’s been in some hot water before. Just last year, he had a Senate ethics investigation when he tried to send a lot of taxpayer dollars to a Somali news outlet that was backing him. Plus, he got in trouble for saying not-so-nice things about white Republican senators.
Fateh is the first Muslim and Somali American in the Minnesota Senate, and now he’s aiming for mayor. The local Democratic Party just gave him their backing over the current mayor, Jacob Frey.
Frey, who’s dealt with the riots and had some issues with Black Lives Matter activists, wasn’t too happy about losing that support and is challenging it. There’s a lot at stake, as this race could end up like what’s happening in New York, where another democrat socialist candidate is leading in the polls. Both cities have their elections coming up on November 4th.
It sure seems like things could change a lot up in Minneapolis if Fateh becomes mayor. Stay tuned, folks!

He thinks the city should help those who might be scared to ask for help, like immigrants who don’t have all their papers or people needing a place for important medical procedures.
Fateh is not keen on the way the police work right now. Instead of just relying on police for everything, he wants to have other trained people respond to many 911 calls. This could mean having folks who are really good at solving problems and calming situations do the work police usually do.
He also wants to make sure the police aren’t helping ICE when they come looking for immigrants. Fateh talks about creating a city where everyone feels safe and looked after, no matter who they are or where they come from.
Helping families find affordable places to live is also a big part of Fateh’s plan. He thinks freezing rents and building more affordable housing will help make life better for many families. Plus, he wants to make sure people doing hard jobs get paid more fairly, aiming for a higher minimum wage by 2028. To help pay for these changes, he’s looking at having wealthier people contribute more taxes.
He’s had some bumps before, like a big investigation, but he’s still pushing for what he believes is right for the city. With the election coming soon, people in Minneapolis have big choices to make about their future.

This should be expected. When you actively bring in third world people, they bring their world with them. They are not asked or expected to assimilate and become American in character and outlook. When they reach a sufficient number, they run for office and in the tribal world you always vote for your kin. It is my understanding that Minneapolis has a substantial Somali population. So, he’ll probably prevail, and Minneapolis will descend into Mogadishu status.
The non-Somalis who don’t like what Minneapolis becomes won’t fight back, they’ll just move out and the city will become another blue hell hole.

The Cedar-Riverside area of Minneapolistan where most skinnies live has been called MiniMogadishu for years.
They elect a democratic socialist from Somalia for mayor then they deserve it. Let them all get what they want. Lets just see if they want what they get. Effem!

It appears that the name in Arabic means "conqueror." Cute. He needs to be arrested and deported now, to make sure he doesn't get hurt in his mission.
The administration should announce it is now policy that the DoJ will cooperate with any citizen who has regret about a transition, especially children who were disfigured by their parents. Legitimate targets of lawsuits will be everyone who advised or participated in the physical harm. This would include hospitals, insurance companies, surgeons, nurses, counselors, teachers, and parents. Once the culprits are financially liable in perpetuity, the gruesome mutilation will stop.

I know a lot of people think that Africans, particularly Somalians, are dumb, due to their crappy performance on IQ tests, but it never a good idea to work by those assumptions.
In this case, this Somalian knows EXACTLY how to obtain power, given where he’s running...so not Somalians are as dumb as we may want them to be.
