IDF's Arabic-language spokesman publishes footage showing Gazans surrounding an aid truck as IDF soldiers stand by, with the crowd later cheering them.

What's weird is there are so many conflicting reports, one can't know what to believe.

Just today the AP reported: Officials say 85 Palestinians seeking aid are killed in Gaza as Israel widens evacuation orders.

A U.N. official, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not allowed to comment on the incident to the media, said Israeli forces opened fire toward crowds who tried to take food from the convoy. Footage taken by the U.N. and shared with the AP showed Palestinian men running as automatic gunfire was heard.

“Suddenly, tanks surrounded us and trapped us as gunshots and strikes rained down. We were trapped for around two hours,” said Ehab Al-Zei, who had been waiting for flour and said he hadn’t eaten bread in 15 days. He spoke over the din of people carrying the dead and wounded. ”I will never go back again. Let us die of hunger, it’s better.”

Nafiz Al-Najjar, who was injured, said tanks and drones targeted people “randomly” and he saw his cousin and others shot dead..

Amazing, was wondering how the anti-Israel posters would try to spin this, or hopefully accept reality.

The IDF Spokesperson in Arabic has released a video that quite easily debunks many false claims against IDF soldiers: a large Palestinian crowd runs and swarms an aid truck. The soldiers stand not far away and, despite the tense situation, do not fire a single shot. The end of the clip looks as if it was taken from a Hollywood movie - the Palestinian crowd stands, applauds, and cheers for the IDF soldiers. It will be interesting to see how Hamas deals with this...

My Dad, a medic in the infantry, told me about being disgusted that the German soldiers who ran west to escape the Russians and surrender to the British and American armies were turned over to the Russians anyway.

You realize it's possible that both sets of reports are true?

There are many food distribution instances. It's possible that Gazans cheer at some, and are shot at others. And that both sides censor and release reports that aid their side.

If this were any other military, including American, we would apply critical thinking. We always question our own CIA, FBI, military, etc. But with Israel, we must always assume the best, yes?

In any war, truth is the first casualty.

No it’s not. That’s not how Israel operates. They go way above and beyond any other nation to protect civilians, even civilians who actively support people who try to kill them.

This has been shown time and time again.

Do accidents happen in war? Sure.

Are there bad actors in the Israeli military? Sure, but they get prosecuted promptly and harshly.

Literally no evidence supports your allegations except stories promulgated by known liars.
