Get a sharpie right now. Find the organ donation box on your license and write “NO.”

Anybody think to check for a heartbeat or breathing of the “corpse” before stealing its organs?

i’ve read that the dirty little secret of organ transplants is that they HAVE to keep the donor’s heart pumping until the organs are removed ...

All of the above is why I do not have an organ donor label on my driver's license. It's a hard NO. The organ harvesting industry is unscrupulous.

So, the days when Americans could piously sit in disdainful judgement of the “Red” Chinese for vivisection practices, is over. We have our share of homegrown Dirty Doctors ready and willing to grab the goods if the price is right.

Does our California DL have this option?

Does our California DL have this option?I moved to Idaho in Dec 2000, so I don't know what a current CA DL looks like.

the Chicomes have been doing this for decades- to prisoners, primarily Falun Gong, and other “enemies” of the state who are sentenced to death then have their organs extracted and sold by the chicom gov’t.....
To: catnipman
I have read that as well. I also have read that hospitals will sell that organ to the highest bidder. I have ceased to be an organ donor. Make sure your health care power of attorney is given to someone who is trustworthy.

This is why my wife and I refuse to be organ donors. Sorry, but we absolutely refuse to surrender our ‘used parts’ to medical ‘science’. They’re ours and we are taking them with us when we go.

This is why I am NOT an organ donor.

While I understand donated organs can save lives, and I feel pity for people who will die without them, “first do no harm” should always be the order of the day. God appoints a person’s time of death anyway.
To: grundle
Jesus, this is going to scare people out of donating.
When I was 21, my kidneys failed, and I spent six years on dialysis. In my area, the wait for a cadaver was nine to fifteen years - I’m sure it’s longer now.
I’m lucky my brother donated, but not everyone is that fortunate.

That’s why they invented the concept of “brain dead” so they can get organs while they’re still viable.
