shocking new discovery pulls back the curtain on what may have happened in the moments leading up to the Air India plane crash last month -- with a report finding the fuel to the doomed plane's engines was likely cut just after taking flight.
A black-box recording of dialogue between the London-bound Boeing 787's two pilots suggests the captain -- Sumeet Sabharwal, who was reportedly known as "Sad Sack" in flight school because he always looked sorrowful -- flipped fuel switches off, according to a Wall Street Journal report about the official probe into the catastrophe

That's exactly what I've been saying.
What else could it have been....Gremlins?
Indeed. 1st Officer was Flying. Had Both Hands on Control Column.
The Captain hands were free.
“The flaps weren’t in the right position for increasing (but low speed) for enough lift and the landing gear was still down when at the point where it was, they should have alredy been up, so drag was a lot higher.””
If you saw the video, then you saw it climbing just fine with flaps and wheels down.
There is not likely much on the voice recorder that is being withheld. The plane was only in the air about 35 seconds before it crashed.
38:35 liftoff
38:42-43 both engines shut off
Pilot asking why did you shut off power
Other pilot answering I didn’t
38:52 fuel switch for engine one back on
38:56 fuel switch for engine two on
39:05 pilot calls mayday
39:11 plane crashes
Could be a few seconds of conversation in there. I’m guessing that the pilot who shut off the fuel made the mayday call as the other pilot would be too busy trying to save the plane to communicate.
“would be too busy trying to save the plane to communicate.”
Possibly. But the PTT button is on the yoke easily pushed.
Almost muscle memory.
Everytime I fly, i’m relieved to a see a middle aged or even older white dude pilot. And that’s all I’m going to say.
“ The first reports from the recorders said the co-pilot was at the controls on takeoff.”
The co pilot was in control. As he was flying it appears the pilot flipped the switches. They are in the center console.
Exactly.
Exacerbated by the deployment of the Ram Air Turbine, when both cutoff switches were engaged. A-hole pilot should have just taken up skydiving. Taking a planeload of people out with him is unconscionable.
Yes there is. And yes they are. If you think the voice recorder does not contain a lot more then you live in an imaginary world. Do you really think neither pilot had anything to say when they were about to crash and die. Other experts recognized that information is censored as well.
Listen to the 3rd guy from the left in the following video. Too much information is being hidden about what was on the recorders. I find that regardless of the cause that Captain Steeve really shows what an ignorant person he is. He claims to know a whole lot more about the air plane systems than I think that he does. I would like to see the Air plane schematics of the switch circuits. And a description of the operation in relation to any computer systems. Without that there is no way to make an intelligent analysis about if the switches were actually moved.

A man?..not a female?...I thought all air crashes were women pilots..I guess not.
He recently separated from his wife, so she can be blamed for his depression.
Trust your gut instincts - he was identified rather early on.
Yeah, flipping off the fuel switches sounds like testosterone-induced rage, not something a woman would do.
