Hey Gang!
This is the first day since coming home from the hospital,
that I actually feel pretty good (aside from pain from surgery) and even THAT is getting better now.
I have had so much help and advice from so many Freepers
that I just wanted to take a few minutes to say THANK YOU!
From help with what to eat and how I was feeling and why I
was feeling that way.
The Good Lord Jesus has given me so many blessings, and I count you all among them!
I had something weird happen to me today while I was enjoying eating a few pineapple spears, and then my tongue
felt like it was on FIRE!
YEEOW!
Man, I have never had that happen before today!
Have any of you?
Turns out some people are super sensitive to the enzyme
Bromelain.

Hey there Ms.B.!
Glad you’re feeling better. Yikes - tongue on fire not good. How ever did we find out all of the information we needed before the internet lol?
My computer crashed the other day so I am getting used to everything being different now, but it’s all working so that’s better than not working!
Yesterday and today the weather here was lovely. 75 degrees with a nice breeze. I spent two days on the deck doing my annual garlic cleaning. I had about 300 heads of garlic (nice big, firm, clean heads) to skin and peel and put into freezer bags. I got 5 extra large bags full of lovely garlic that can be pulled right out of the freezer and used for the next year or two.
My son-in-law very kindly installed two new storm doors on the house here. They are so nice. Natalie picked them out - and when you give Natalie and assignment and send her out with your credit card, believe me, you get nice storm doors lol.
My granddaughter went to the St. Jacob’s Market today and just brought me over a nice package of peanut brittle! Yum. I love the stuff! Good thing I don’t have it often. So now I’m crunching away.
How’s you weather been? Have you been comfortable enough to go walking a bit? I’m nervous of falling, so I try and walk on my dreadmill a few times a day.
Hope the pain continues to lessen every day, Ms.B. Life with constant pain is a bee with an itch!
I read that even cops and investigators that have been on the
force a long time were freaked out and throwing up at what they saw.
I read one article that said “she who will not be named” was
dancing around wearing the skin of a little child on her face.
” True enough, public not ready for such evil.”
What’s really sickening, is she could have become Madame President.
I just felt a chill right up my spine.
Kamala would have been bad enough, but at least she is just honestly REALLY stupid.
Cankles is evil...really really evil.
“so I try and walk on my dreadmill a few times a day.”
LOL!
You’re so funny, Judy!
It’s been HOT HOT HOT with air quality alerts (pollen)
so I am staying indoors, watching movies on Netflix
(I am hooked on reruns of Grey’s Anatomy-good show!)
It tickles me that “Dr Mcdreamy” is from my hometown of
Lewiston, Maine!
Local boy does good!
He does a lot of charity work for cancer research and such.
What’s not to like, hmmm?
Oh, all that lovely garlic right at your finger tips!
I’m so jealous!
...
Yes, I heard those stories as well, Ms.B. I truly think that is what Dan Bongino is shaken to his core about - Huma Abedine and Hillary doing some ritual that ended with the skin of the 10 year old girl on their faces. I think it’s call Frazzledrip, or something like that. Pure evil. Unmatched evil.
I guess if a person truly aligns with the devil, the ultimate pleasing of that master would be the harm to innocent children. Seems to me that the devil is winning.
Sure is! I think it’s time to park the train. It’s been a good run, with lots of connections made along the way.
Those cantaloupe are so cute! Looks like the three I have, they are right next to each other also. I have one raised bed full of cantaloupe, plants, and not one single cantaloupe. Then I planted a couple cantaloupe plants and a butternut squash bed and that’s where the cantaloupes showed up. Have no clue why.
Prayers for your recovery!
Are you able to say what kind of surgery you had? I’ll have to PM you on mine. I’m gonna try to postpone, however.. postpone the surgery, I mean!
Does that mean you’re leaving? I hope not!
We might be seeing a Negative net Migration for the first time in 50 years!
Gee. guess all that was needed was a new President!
Can’t post article due to posting rules.
Glad you’re doing better!
Yes, it was an emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder.
It was so inflamed I had sepsis, too.
I was in pretty rough shape there for a while.
The high temps are what scared me the most.
*HUG*
thanks, Sis!
Now, are YOU finally feeling better?
Any idea what made you so sick last week?
ππ
I was sick for over 2 weeks, have no idea what it was. I’m better, but very weak and tired and it’s depressing. I guess this is what old age is like. We’ll we can still THINK young, right? πβ·οΈπββοΈβΉοΈββοΈπββοΈπ€ΈββοΈπ€ΌββοΈπ€ΎββοΈπ§ββοΈ
Sepsis!! no wonder you were in the hospital for four days.
I’m glad you made it out
Glad to “see” you back.
Thinking young works okay, but I’ve found that prayer and just working on The Plan every day has a lot more to do with keepin’ on.
One item on my version of The Plan is to dance at the weddings of each and every one of our ever-growing flock of great-grandkids. (The latest little girl is going to put me on the dance floor at least around my 100th year, but lots of my family have gone there and more....)
No point in worry and I know for sure that picking my end-of-service date is ‘way above my pay grade so I’ll just wish you all a good night and I’ll see y’all early tomorrow.
Glad you’re feeling better, Rusty! Yes, old age sucks, but it beats the alternative.
I thought of you this morning as I was getting dressed lol. I had selected black capri pants with a black t-shirt that is covered in pink and white hearts. I went with the pink earrings and black slides (comfy shoes!), but wasn’t sure which undies to go with lolol. I didn’t have pink, so I went with the black!
I suspect I’m going to think of you often when I picking out clothing for the day lol.
