No, you did not. I am suffering from a persistent, throbbing, and malevolent headache. In those moments I rise above the pain, I try to catch up with other things that I have neglected.
Well, as the feedback diminishes, so do the offerings. There’s not much from anyone lately, so it’s fair to say the thread is as much as done.
When you’ve got the headline we’ve all been waiting for, for years, exploding since Friday, and there’s next to nothing said about it here, it’s safe to say we’re done.
Not sure if we’re stooges/muskateers, or were successfully sabotaged by some OCD control freaks. Happens all the time. The good guys usually lose out to the conniving phonies.
Those of us who want can keep in touch privately, if so desired.

What on earth is going on in Maine these days? Not the serene, staid state I remember - that’s for sure.
I’ve shared with you my desire to keep out of the frenzy that FR has become on some topics. Last year, I spent the summer in 1926 Melbourne Australia watching the irrepressible Miss Phryne Fisher solve crimes.
Then I ventured back to this site to see all the flapdoodle about DJT’s first six months in office. What a cluster!
So this summer I’ve retreated to the more sedate and comfortable English countryside along with James Runcie and GK Chesterton and am splitting my time between Grantchester and Kembleford. It’s been lovely, although those small villages do seem to have an inordinately high number of murders as a compared to the size of the general population.
Aside from that, I believe Pam Bondi is doing an exemplary job. Unlike some others on FR, I am a fan of having adequate evidence and my legal ducks in a row before rushing to arrest and try someone. It seems as though she is doing so.
I also believe Rubio, Duffy, Burgum and RFK have become stellar members of the Trump cabinet. Lutnick not so much, and Hegseth and Bessent are still in my “meh” column.
But enough about me. How’s your summer going with that Carney-val you’ve got in Canada? And please stop sending all your wildfire smoke down here! As DJT says: Thank you for your attnetion to this matter. LOL!!!

The only place I’ve been is rural Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I broke down and watched an old movie last night, Witness. I rarely put on a movie, but it is bound to be an old one if I do!
If you check those delightful sounding towns, nestled in the English countryside, I’m thinking the murder rate is even higher, now that they have imported so much “diversity.” Not much of a mystery, however, who is doing the killing.
Lololo at Carney-val! I refer to him as Carnage, but I like Carneyval even more! I don’t even pay much attention to what’s going on up here....it’s not good for my blood pressure. Just looking forward to this week, now that Bondi is in the spotlight, and it’s her turn to show her “stuff.”
