How are the knees doing?
Surgery is rough as we get older. My nerves are doing better, healing a bit. It’s been 4 months and the doctor said give myself six. If anything he never said that in the very beginning when we were talking about surgery!
My neighbor just had breast cancer surgery and now she’s having some complications that were never brought up either. I’m sure they were in fine print on the permission slip she signed. Okay it’s not called the permission slip but I can’t remember what it is right now, consent form?
Darn it she has to have chemo. I offered to go bald with her so she wouldn’t be alone. Going to see if she holds me to that now. I’m not real fond of my hair anyway so a wig would be a improvement. Uncomfortable though.

knee has plateaued for now. a little pain. can’t be in one position too long... not much movement on my part during the winter months so that’s on me.
My therapist said however good it is at the 1 year mark, that’s as good as it will get.
had my prostate rotor rooted week before Christmas.
That has settled down and I’m pretty much good to go there.

I’m curious to see if the president does away with the switch in time. I don’t know if he means dropping daylight savings or standard time though.....he likely wants to keep the daylight. Time (no pun intendend lol) will tell!

The V.A. has a program called Community Care, where I can get treatment close to home rather than going to the V.A. hospital or the V.A. Doc in the box. I did my therapy at ATI...the charges were ridiculous and the VA paid no questions asked. The least they could have done is pay my country club fees...they would have save thousands...
I hadn’t thought of that, trying to recover in the winter months when exercise is what you need is hard. I know I’m supposed to get out and walk, but I barely do a mile a day. And that’s all day long. Going to be near 60 today so I’ll grab the dog and head out in a bit.
I’m anxious to be able to get out and walk around the farm a bit. Between non-stop snow, ice, freezing rain, high winds and brutally cold temps, I’ve been house bound. The snow is starting to fade and I’m seeing some ground and grass trying to make an entrance for spring!
March is always a mix of rain and snow, but the snow doesn’t stay long because the temps manage to get above freezing. April is rain, mud and misery, so May is when it starts to feel warm! Seems so far away!
Sixty degrees is a dream! When you say a mile a day, do you mean intentional walking for exercise, or is that one of those gizmos you put on your arm and it tallies your distance when you’re going about your daily routine? I might get one of those, although this winter it would have hardly tallied anything!
I wish i could blame it all on that but I just got lazy. Siting on my dead butt, eating cheetos, drinkin Dr. Pepper and binge watching a bunch shows.
I do have a foot pedal underneath my desk where I was pedaling for 30 mins in the am then again in the pm.
I stopped when I had my surgery in december. I never started again.
Temp got up to 54 here today so far. I’ll watch it from my man-cave...

I know the feeling. I am just now looking at sunshine, the snow is melted enough to go for a walk, the temperature is a balmy 48 degrees, and I am having a very heated argument with myself about putting on my coat and shoes and getting my keister out there for a walk. It’s just so comfy staying inside and not bothering.
I’ll let you know who wins the argument lol. Sensible Judy or Lazy Judy.

I listened to Sensible Judy. Went outside and walked a bit and sat and soaked up some sunshine. The smell of spring is in the air and the snow has been melting. It was lovely!
