I think this happened back in april ? I still wonder why it didn’t allow Garcia to be kept at CECOT
Oh, I didn’t know that it was April! So after this decision from SCOTUS, why would the Trump people pay any attention to the rogue activist judge, Boesberg? Weird.
sorry...I should have provided source...
no dates. that’s a bell ringer for me.
I did manual searches and did a GROK search and a https://www.scotusblog.com search and a look see @ the scotus web site https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/slipopinion/25 and no news site is reporting this as current.
nada/bupkus/zilch/zippo/zero on anything current from SCOTUS on this.
If you can up with something...please share.
Wow, you got all three in one picture!
Good, our side needs to be more vocal.
All this in fighting, the work of Satan. Although you would think it would be happening in the Democrat party, if Satan was behind it. LOL
Thanks ltos!
We must’ve got a foot, that’s what it looks like on the ground. Hubby went out and shoveled snow once and then it got covered up again so I think he’s given up for now. Should freeze solid overnight. 4 degrees.
Please pray for all the outside cats, there are so many. Even those that have people feeding them will be in trouble, since people can’t get out.
Almost two feet where I am...and more expected tomorrow.
Grrrrrr
Wow! That’s a lot of snow for you guys. I hope it’s not the heavy stuff.....they call that the widow-maker up here.
Wow!
That’s too much to shovel. But it sounds like you live where snow removal equipment would be available?
We just get shut down here in Tennessee. Our driveway is a sheet of ice and it’s a 35° hill. A ramp right into our neighbors’ pool. So we won’t be going anywhere until Tuesday when it’s supposed to be in the 40s.
Widow maker, from heart attacks? I think it’s light and fluffy. The only shoveling I did was on our screened in porch where the snow accumulated about an inch. It was light and fluffy there anyway.
Hubby did the driveway and I didn’t ask. I know the tractor got stuck so he wasn’t in the mood for talking. He takes things like that personally. LOL
Yes, heart attacks. Glad it was light and fluffy!
I’m in Massachusetts, which has endured way worse than this. We have big plows, backhoes, and little tractor-like snow blowers for the highways, but I’m shoveling out my own little patch myself.
I hate it though.
No snow here, I think, but very, very cold.
Here’s a GREAT quote from C.S.Lewis: “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be “cured” against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”
That IS a good quote.....I liked “for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” Imagine thinking you’re THAT good.
