Well, my little happy world has hit a bump. My son just got back from a trip to Arizona. He is going to move down there. I certainly understand him wanting to get out of Canada. They had a great time in Arizona and have close friends there. It is going to be pretty hard for me, but he has to do what’s best for him and his family. It’s going to be hard.
I know this will be really hard! He’ll miss you too and hopefully will do well $$$ and can visit you a couple times a year. I know you don’t like to travel BUT now maybe you’ll have a warm place to visit a month or so escaping frigid Canada

Thanks, Dolly. Yes, he’s said he’ll have a spot if I get brave enough to make my way down there. It makes me nervous in a way, because he has a beautiful property here with a small but nice house.....all paid off. He’ll be selling it. I know he’ll also miss the giant pond and beautiful forest around him. I just hope he’s not making a big mistake.

Can you just decide to move to arizona? I thought there had to be things like visas and stuff. Especially if it’s a permanent residency. Can he transfer his business? Not that we aren’t happy to have a self-supporting intelligent conservative family here, but how sad for canada. And especially the grandma! I see a lot of trips to the Southwest in your future. Maybe you could take a little detour to Tennessee once. Or rather, on my way to California I could stop in arizona.

Sounds like one already to me. But then on prone to figure out where to move based on natural resources.
From that gorgeous property to intense hot desert? We kind of did the opposite. What part of arizona? If it’s the north at least it’s not quite so hot and there are mountains and trees. But less opportunities as the big cities have all the jobs.
