To all Trump Train Travelers. I hope your day is safe and pleasant. Many are alone and that too is often a blessing. Some of my deepest spiritual experiences were when i was alone but really was not alone. Just God and me. A real great time of introspection, prayer, and yes gratitude. One just needs to leave the pity party out in the tool shed
Big family groups can be wonderful but they can also be a nightmare. Many here know that
Jeff and i invited to friends for buffet . He may or may not go. Since his auto accident several years ago his back has been terrible. He’d love it there. Home on mountain on 100s of acres -family heritage-with breath taking mountains view. Wonderful home and a sporty man cave to love. Hope he’s up to it
Ill take a bottle of Rose Prosecco as hostess gift. Food is more yhan covered

I’m trying so hard to get back some faith. Every day is a test and I am exhausted. I splurged and called the furnace repairman because I am too sick to do without heat again this winter. 4 days of heat was wonderful until I woke up with air conditioning instead this morning. So do I call the same outfit again or find someone new to get screwed by?
I even bought a turkey for me and the cats and made a pumpkin pie. I haven’t had a hoiday since the Alameda fire 5 years ago. Maybe next year. Now the microwave has died..I am cursed. It never let’s up.

Sometimes when you’re going through some rough waters and you think it cannot possibly get worse… It does.
My sympathies go with you.
I lived off the grid for almost 5 years. Not intentionally. But circumstances. It is not easy. It is certainly not fun. But it’s survivable and it certainly does make you stronger And more content.
Are you still in state of Washington?
