One of the resorts up here, which a cousin used to own, was turned into a home for Veterans.
All the proceeds from the Veteran’s Thrift Store go to maintaining this resort.
Even all the workers are volunteers,
I’m very happy to donate good stuff and to buy good stuff there.

Setting up some ribeye steaks on the grill. Had them marinating in a mustard-based honey bbq sauce overnight.
Family coming over in a bit, and the Scotch is troublesomely smooth 😁.
Got potatoes, bell peppers, and Spanish onions in a balsamic glaze ready fir the fire, and salted watermelon slices with yogurt/coolwhip/sherbet pie for desert, Compliments of the delightful and always ravishing Mrs. Hale.

Yes Jane as my own Grandkids and nieces and nephews have gone to many Summer Christain Camps over the years and still do!
I only can pray no parent should have to go through this as would be our biggest grief!
I do pray for them all.
There are no words to heal but prayer is my only way for all that are experiencing this grief.

Jon Scott just interviewed one little girl that was rescued and her mom!I’m in tears now hearing her words as she said the night before they all hugged each other goodnight and now they are missing and said she hope those kids are found!
