Yup, it’s back to the garage and going through boxes for me.

We have a wildfire not far from us.
Firefighters are holding it to a few acres but was breathing in the smoke all night.
After having one house burned, smoke keeps we up, hard time sleeping.
Have a cough this morning but am headed out for Church, which I desperately need, in a few.

I wish we had a VA Thrift Store nearby.
We have a very nice store called “Good Deeds” who do cleanouts and sell the items in the store. Then, a large part of the proceeds go to different charies every quarter. A lot of them are veteran’s Charities, like Equine therapy, Companion Animals, Homeless vets, etc.
They have REALLY nice stuff there for good prices (Vinyl Records $1.00), and mst of my furniture came from there.
I can just delete my recording without watching. Thanks for the heads up.

That sounds like a great thrift store ... like they actually screen all of the items for quality, usefulness, cleanliness, etc.
The thrift stores around us pretty much take whatever and set it out ... as is :- /

I usually treat that as data that is promptly checked against another source...or two or however many (Yeah, my "News" page has usually got 15 or so tabs..) to detect/delete the purposefully slanted and "hopefully" get something out of the remainder that I can very..cautiously..consider as useful.
(I started doing this to my "news" sources back during 'Nam and expanded to computers/internet/etc from there.)
BTW s&s, if AI ain't The Beast it's shaping up to be an extremely good warm-up act.
