When Fox News abruptly fired Tucker Carlson in April 2023, the timing wasn’t just suspicious; it was glaring. Red flags were waving everywhere. It all started around the time he was airing never-before-seen footage from January 6th, exposing cracks in the official narrative.
At the time, many suspected Tucker’s termination wasn’t just about ratings or contracts; it was about control. Now, thanks to Tucker himself, we know those suspicions were dead on. Maybe more so than you ever realized.
...
According to Tucker, right after he was fired, Rupert Murdoch approached him and asked him to run against President Trump.
Sounds crazy, right?
If true, that’s not “business as usual.” That’s backstabbing sabotage, plain and simple. And it would show just how deep Fox News’s disdain for Trump runs and how desperate they were to stop him.
...
Rupert Murdoch’s disdain for Trump came shining through loud and clear ever since Roger Ailes left the network.
When Ailes was forced out, he didn’t just leave a company; he took the last thread of America First energy with him. Under Ailes’s leadership, Fox could at times be bold, sharp, and aligned with the grassroots movement.
But my, how things have changed.
Fox News has become controlled opposition—a slick, polished mechanism for keeping conservatives on a leash.
They still throw viewers a few bones like Jesse Watters, Greg Gutfeld, occasional spicy monologues… just enough to make it feel edgy. But when it really counts, they fall in line with the establishment. They cut voices that go too far off-script. They neuter populism. And they keep the Trump base just pacified enough to keep watching but never empowered.
Tucker Carlson was their biggest wild card and their biggest threat. And when he got too real about January 6th, Ukraine, the intel community, and most of all, Trump, they pulled the plug. But like any good “controlled opposition” outfit, they may have found a bigger and better use for Tucker—as a pawn in a chess game against MAGA.
The reality is, Tucker Carlson has been one of the most consistent and powerful anti-war voices in media, and one of the few voices with the guts to call out the military-industrial complex, the intel community, and both parties when they’ve betrayed the American people. That matters. And it deserves to be heard and respected.
At its core, the MAGA movement is about populism: fighting for the people, not the power structure. Tucker’s never claimed to be a loyalist. But he’s also never been a liar. And he has no reason to make this up.
The fact that the Murdochs tried to use Tucker as a weapon against Trump tells you everything you need to know about the game they’re playing behind the scenes. Fortunately, Tucker was far too wise to take the Murdochs bait, and when it mattered most, Tucker got fully behind Trump, even hitting the trail to campaign with him during the 2024 election cycle.
...
Fox News once held mega-power status in conservative media. But those days are fading fast. More and more people are waking up to the reality: maybe they’re not really on our side. They’re not the voice of the people. They’re the “velvet glove” of the establishment.
Yawn.
RE: Yawn.
(after the post ahead of it that just had a huge Bombshell word on it....)
Like the Beyond the Fringe stage show comedy where the religious group met on a hill top to gather for the end of the world at a predicted day and time.
Then “so ends the world” followed by normal sounds. Nothing happened.
“Not exactly the huge conflagration we all predicted.”
(Then “Oh, well, we meet here again same time next year.”)
Bullllll
I don’t watch Fox anymore. Stopped in 2020.
Needs more siren.
They also aided in sabotaging 2020 with their election coverage and calling out Arizona early etc…
Megyn Kelly has had her come to Jesus moment after the self serving 2015 primary debate Rosie O Donnell comment debacle.
But my doubts about Fox started with their dismissal of more contrarian but legitimate conservative voices like Ron Paul for example. He never got a fair shake.
Who doesn’t know that Fox News is soft Leftist porn who keeps a couple of guys like Sean Hannity to cover their otherwise nakedness?
As my Mom used to say: “What has that to do with the price of potatoes?”
You people with good taste shouldn’t rub it in to common types like me. Makes us feel bad.
Correlation doesn’t imply causality.
But…
….every biggie who left Fox flamed out.
Bill O’Reiley is virtually unknown.
Glenn Beck is still known. Barely.
Me-again Kelly had a rebound. But she’s nowhere near as big as she was.
Tucker coulda been bigger when he went solo. Instead, he went full nutter.
Meanwhile, Hannity, a complete bore, is still “relevant.”
Go figya.
RE: Needs more siren.
I’m already in an undisclosed location in a bunker eating those 25 year shelf life survivalist foods.
Billionaires are transnatiknalisrs. It Genesis 6 all over again, about the tyrants building their Tower of Babel
Rupert Murdoch must be as retarded as Joe Biden to even think that Trump supporters would even consider voting for Carlson.
Same with me.
RE: Bill O’Reilly is virtually unknown.
Isn’t it amazing Jesse Watters used to have the small comedy relief feature on the mighty #1 rated Bill O’Reilly is now the full show host and appears on another show as a regular?
Perhaps Carlson is looking for a response from the public, for the suggestion he run. Mine is a big fat zero. I never watched the guy when he was on Fox News, and haven't followed him after. I got no use for any of the media, which is why I watch none of them and haven't for 17 years.
Sigh. Transnationalists.
Can’t trust my phone.
“”” but legitimate conservative voices like Ron Paul for example. He never got a fair shake”””
Because he is an idiot just like his kid.
