The Big Media are bad ... the real problem is the insider threat. Somebody deliberately took that report and gave it to people who are not authorized to have it. That is criminal conduct.
I would have said, “CNN, What part of ‘preliminary’ do you not understand?”................
During a hearing with Gabbard, Patel, and other key people in the Trump administration, the Democrats continued to hammer on the leak of information via the Signal app. Beating the same drum over and over. This is just another attempt to play politics with the safety of the nation by the Democrats.
Despite claims by some of the Democrats on this committee hearing that politics had no place in that hearing room.
You are correct!
“breathlessly” sure but “reflexively” or “axiomatically” would maybe also be accurate. “Automatically” too as they use the same verbiage in unison.
The path was set with the Pentagon Papers leak of long ago.
It was interesting to see a few pro-Iran freepers embracing the media as the arbiter of truth and effectively calling Trump fake news. Same with the breathless talking point of “missing uranium”. Anything to paint the mission, and by extension Trump, a failure.
Biden can do no wrong.
Trump can do no right.
The MSM (their owners and most journalists), Social Media (owners like Zuckerberg) and Hollywood are pro-Democrat and champion most liberal causes.
Now, suddenly what China thinks about this bombing in Iran matters to our media, now suddenly they question if it was a success, they worry about retaliation, if the President had the authority to order such a strike... Compare that to when we caused a war in Ukraine and how the MSM reported about this.
If you’re a liberal Democrat, the MSM, Hollywood, and Social Media have your back.
If you’re a conservative and Republican, the MSM, Hollywood, and Social Media will use every opportunity they have to make you look bad.
It’s just that simple.
Who were the leakers?
The inntelligence report was not drawn up to be accurate and honest, it was drawn up to be dishonest and leaked.
Somebody deliberately took that report and gave it to people who are not authorized to have it. That is criminal conduct.

And no matter who it was or what position he/she holds, that person should be immediately dismissed and charged with violation of whatever laws were violated, and when found guilty imprisoned for the maximum sentence permissible under applicable laws. These anti-American Marxist MUST be hunted down and punished for their crimes.
I believe we are on their tail.
Yep, you are correct, the IR was deliberately dishonest and inaccurate, for the purpose of Disinformation, to Leak as planned from the start.
I don’t know, President Trump will find out.
If you leak, we will find you, prosecute you, and ruin your life.
“...had not been coordinated with other agencies in the intelligence community...”
Not surprising as the media tends to shy away from anything intelligent.

What he should do is not limit the intelligence, but limit whom he gives this intelligence to.
Trump should say that he will give the full intelligence briefings to the Speaker of the House, the President pro tempore of the Senate [these are the only two offices in Congress mentioned in the Constitution], as well as the Officers of each party. This would mean majority/minority leaders, party whips, and Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the House and Senate Select Intelligence Committees.
Then, Trump should declare that he will hold these members of Congress accountable to the people if any information leaks to the media. It won't be the White House that leaks intel, it will be someone who was given the intel by one of these officers of Congress who did it. If any intel leaks, Trump will demand that the Congressional Ethics committees and the respective Sergeants-at-arms, along with the FBI, immediately conduct and investigation into who in Congress violated the people's trust.

If you are looking for the leaker, start with. Jennifer Griffin.
