New York Real Estate Brokers Say They’ve Been Flooded With Calls From People Looking to Flee the City After Mamdani Primary Win

Earlier today, the Gateway Pundit reported that some Jewish people are planning to flee New York City after communist Muslim Zohran Mamdani won the Democrat primary race for mayor.

Now it’s being reported that some real estate brokers in New York City were flooded with calls from people looking to flee the city within minutes of Mamdani’s win.

People are horrified by the prospect of this man being in charge of America’s most iconic city.

From the New York Post:

Luxury real-estate brokers say wealthy New Yorkers are already looking to flee after Zohran Mamdani’s primary win

Within minutes of Zohran Mamdani clinching the Democratic nomination Tuesday night, real estate agents like Ryan Serhant were flooded with calls from clients looking to walk away from deals to buy apartments in NYC. High-end buyers are now looking to purchase property outside of the city.

“My number one job will be moving people from New York to Florida. Again,” Serhant told me. “Based on the results, clients are going to hold off on making any kind of investment in New York City.”

According to a note I reviewed, one client who had made an offer on a Chelsea apartment sent her broker an email minutes after former Governor Cuomo conceded to Zohran Mamdani. “We are going to take a break from looking until there’s more clarity on the mayoral election,” the client wrote.

One Manhattan-based founder who already pays 50% of her income immediately started thinking about moving. “Where can we go?” she asked me…

“People are frightened and over the next three to four months we’re going to see a lot of people consider South Florida again — it’s going to be a COVID level of interest,” Zeder added. “These are people who can afford to move with relative ease.”

People can see exactly where this is going.

If this guy wins in November, NYC is toast.

Nits make lice! Wall them in! Even “republicans” in NYC area are a liberal contagion!

The people of NYC appear to be insane. My guess is people leaving the city just strengthens support for the communist. As with all attempts at communism, the supporters among the citizens are those who enjoy shared misery.

Mamdani: Wreckless + Radical + Muslim

If I were an NYPD officer nearing retirement, I’d probably just hunker down. But younger ones might want to start looking for law enforcement openings elsewhere.

Seems to be knee jerk reaction at this point. He hasn’t won’t the governorship or whatever yet. Just seems to be premature reactions. (Not that NY po,itics arent a craphole polcies to begin with, but it isn’t quite full commie yet, but certainly eking closer to it) I read only like 30% of people voted, and he did really bad amount a number of groups who did bother to go vote. It remains to be seen if he wins or loses the election by a landslide. They were all bad choices really. Pray that NY elects a republican (by a landslide would be great for the state, but that would be hoping too much I suppos3)

“Will islam buy up everything ?”

I don’t think that’s the problem. :) When NY went after Trump for basically a non crime and convicted him that was the first shock wave. Now they elect an (other people’s) money grubbing socialist. The realize if they stay their wealth is in danger.

I knew something about my post #5 didn’t look right. But I recklessly hit the Post button anyway.

It should be “reckless” in my post, not “wreckless”.

Going to the voting booth on election day is far easier and cheaper than packing and moving.

He’s not the mayor yet. Anyway imho, N.Y. City had gone steadily down the sewer ever since Giuliani left. The town is a dump.

I don’t know why everyone is freaking out over this.

They guy didn’t even get 50% of the DEMOCRAT vote.

His only serious challenger was Cuomo who had lots of baggage to carry.

Brave AI:

The voter turnout for the 2025 mayoral primary is estimated to approach 1.1 million, mostly in person on Election Day, which is more than one third of the city’s registered Democrats and noticeably higher than turnout for the 2021 mayoral primary.

In the 2021 New York City mayoral election, Eric Adams won the general election with 66.99% of the vote, defeating Curtis Sliwa, who received 26.90% of the vote. The total votes cast in the 2021 election were 1,125,258, with Eric Adams receiving 753,801 votes and Curtis Sliwa receiving 302,680 votes.

Zohran Mamdani will win. Cuomo may run as an independent. Sliwa should quit and support Adams instead.
