As 100PercentFedUp previously reported, Israel launched several precision airstrikes on Iran on Thursday night.
The IDF conducted several key airstrikes on nuclear facilities and the homes of top Iranian scientists and military officials.
One of the most notable military officials killed in the first wave of airstrikes was the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salami.
It’s now been reported that nearly two dozen senior Iranian military officials have been killed in the airstrikes.
The Times of Israel had the numbers:
At least 20 senior Iranian commanders, including IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, were killed in Israel’s strikes on Iran on Friday, two regional sources tell Reuters.
Meanwhile, Iran’s state TV reports a fresh Israeli attack on the Natanz nuclear facility, and a fire at the Tabriz airport.
Despite Israel claiming it caused significant damage to Natanz, including destroying an underground centrifuge facility, Iran claims most of the damage at the enrichment plant is only “surface level.”
Israel’s military actions are expected to last two weeks:
Time reported Iran’s response to the airstrikes:
Iran began its retaliation campaign against Israel on Friday, after warning Israel that it would pay a “heavy price” for its earlier strikes targeting military leaders, civilian officials, and nuclear sites across the country.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Effie Defrin said, according to CNN, that Iran had launched more than 100 drones toward Israeli territory. Such drones can reportedly take up to seven hours to reach Israel from Iran.
“All [aerial] defense arrays have been operating to intercept the threats,” Defrin was quoted as saying. “This is a different event to what we’ve experienced thus far, and we’re expecting difficult hours. We should show resilience and patience.”
Around 9:30 a.m. in Tel Aviv (2:30 a.m. ET), an IDF official told the media that Israel’s military had begun to shoot down Iranian drones. About two hours later, the IDF said, according to Times of Israel correspondent Emanuel Fabian, that it had “control over the situation,” though it did not specify at the time whether it had shot down all the drones.
WRONG
If Iran had nukes they would use them right now if they had not already.
20 military leaders and at least 4 nuclear scientists
“People will support their own military.”
Tell that to Mussolini.
L
The people will rally in support of the mullahs
—
NO they will not rally to the Insane Mullahs - those nut cases are roundly hated by the people, to the point that, if they have to die to get rid of the nut jobs, they are more than willing.
You are wrong about the Iranians who do not support any part of their government since 1979.
100% the ayatollah needs to be done in

I thought Pimentolov was a Russian advisor
That’s good.
And General Curtis LeMay had the correct answer for this.
"If you kill enough of them, they will stop fighting".
The value required for "enough" can be greatly reduced by targeting the right people. That would be the commanders and political leaders.
Iran will attempt to do the same to Israel, of course. As in ancient times, leaders who pursue wars put themselves at personal risk. It is foolish for them to believe otherwise.
General LeMay had another pertinent observation:
If you are going to use military force, then you ought to use overwhelming military force. Use too much and deliberately use too much; you'll save lives, not only your own, but the enemy's too.
Sun Tzu all over. Most generals have read him I’m sure.
Turkish TV was reporting that there is radioactive leak from one of the sites.
At this point it seems they should kill as many of the hard liners as possible
Be sure to kill the king as they say if u go that route
Or Israel could just be “mowing the grass” as they say
Who knows
I’m sure they have an objectives list from ok to spinal tap 11
Killing the ayatollah is likely an 11
