Like so many others, I spent last night glued to the news — here at PJ Media and on X — marveling at the breadth, depth, and mind-blowing precision of Israel's initial strike on Iran. No surprise here: Mossad and Israeli special forces were the real stars of the show.
According to an Israeli official today, Israel built a drone base deep inside Iran as part of their preparations — and then unleashed them to deadly effect.
This is where I remind you that it's only in the last two years or so that the deadly efficacy of drone warfare was proven beyond a doubt. In that short time, the IDF not only embraced it but smuggled a drone base into Iran — a tightly controlled dictatorship and presumably on high alert — then, on cue, launched those drones to destroy ballistic missile launchers before they could be used against Israel.

It makes you wonder what drones can do to this country. Start forest fires. Take out power lines. Poison lakes. Cause traffic in LA.
If the Iranians are smart they’ll take their Revolutionary Guards off of repression duty in order to search for the secret 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th hidden drone bases.
Already a bunch of drones doing that...
Mossad is smart and dedicated, for sure.
What about all those young men from communist China the Biden administration foolishly let in over four years?
Wonder how many covert drone factories they have in the United States?
IMO, the biggest change they are bringing is eliminating the need for putting men in harm’s way.
Frankly, during the “anti-war” movement during the Persian gulf war I told people the reason they can’t get the support of the population like they did during Vietnam is that so few families were affected by the death of a loved one in the war.
I have no doubt that we are getting to the point where we can fight these “localized proxy wars” with almost no American lives being put at risk.
Then what? What happens when war becomes, regarding loss of our own people, cheap.
If Israel is smart they’ll use drones to spray the secret gay bomb on the mullahs in public and put an end to their reign.
All our own parked planes are vulnerable here in the US. Might have to move them around from time to time. More surveillance as in ‘1984’.
Just like what the Ukrainians did in Russia.
No. it is far worse than that.
Drones launched from inside the US borders, from Chinese-owned farms and barns and warehouses near US Bases, can, simultaneously and without warning:
Destroy ships and Navy warehouses.
Navy drydocks and cranes.
Docks, piers, and loading areas.
Munitions depots and their cranes and docks and assembly areas.
Destroy Every USAF plane and ammo storage bomb dump at every base.
Destroy USAF hangers and repair depots.
Destroy Boeing and Lockheed and Raytheon and General Dynamics fabrication shop in the US.
Cut rail and Interstate Highway bridges and tunnels and road cuts though hillsides and mountains.
Cut canals and locks on the rivers.
Knock out every power plant and transmission transformers.
Then again. No.
That won't happen.
(The Communist Chinese would run out of drones before the United States would run out of targets that could be destroyed by drones.)
So it becomes clear that all those drones flying around NJ that the government was playing dumb about was most likely a test of some sort. We know we're vulnerable and having a few dozen or even more in the air likely gave us an opportunity to test some targeting and tracking machinery.
That's not exactly a rare occurrence.
Made me think of the old Star Trek episode “A Taste of Armageddon”.
War becomes painless, and becomes endless.
You can do most anything once. Were those things you listed happen the 3 gorges dam will suddenly burst.
Yeah. As you noticed, it was sort of a rhetorical question.
Sort of...
“Good Morning Iran it’s Friday the 13th”
Did they wear hockey masks?
