Israel has launched what it called “preemptive strikes” against Iran and a state of emergency has been declared in Israel, according to the country’s Defense Minister Israel Katz. “Following the State of Israel’s preemptive strike against Iran, a missile and drone attack against the State of Israel and its civilian population is expected in the immediate future” Katz said in a statement. Iranian state media outlet IRNA reported repeated explosions could be heard in Tehran.

The Israeli strike is on nuclear sites, missile sites and military sites of the IRGC.
“Pre-emptive strike” means they think or know Iran was about to hit Israel tonight. Couldn’t wait.

It was all over the new last night, covered here. Some experts “ahem” were expecting the strike last night. Iran even tweeted out “We are ready.”

Studied this today. Israel probably has sub launched nuke cruise missiles. Land based ICBMs. F35s that are probably nuke capable. So they have their nuclear triad. Here’s hoping this whole thing stays conventional.

The nuclear material for an atomic bomb can be placed in two coffee cans hidden in an area the size of Texas.
Israel can probably stop Iran from enriching more uranium, but Iran probably has enough for a dozen bombs.
