NOT his time. But WOW!
Video and audio looks like flaps were up and gear was down. Inexperienced crew?
The 787 would need about 260 knots clean not to stall at the estimated weight at takeoff or could have been the RAM deployment (loud bang) which supplies emergency electricity to run essentials and is automatically deployed when both engine fail at once.
Bomb?
Probably heard the goats and sheep bouncing around in the luggage compartment.
Let that sink in.
Stinger from Afghanistan?
Thanks, Joe?
“The aircraft was under the command of captain Sumeet Sabharwal with first officer Clive Kundar. Mr Sabharwal had 8,200 hours of experience, while the copilot had 1,100 hours of flying experience.
The pilot made a mayday call just before the plane went down.”
Either major malfunction or terrorism
a fully loaded plane both passengers and fuel, too heavy to stay in the air maybe
That certainly doesn’t sound like ice in the fuel line.
Pakistan was always going to retaliate for losing a military war with their instrument of choice - terrorism. But so soon ? (Speculation).
The video that I saw showed the huge flaps on the wings weren’t extended to create lift when taking off.
the initial video of the plane crashing reminded me of the video from 9-11 of the first plane hitting the north Tower that was taken across the river in Brooklyn or Queens (can’t remember which it was)- in other words the person taking the video knew what was going to happen...
Muslim bomb?
Bomb? — my first thought, too.R
I read earlier that this airline has been flying FORTY YEARS without a fatal accident. They obviously hire competent people.
Have you ever seen videos of Indian trains and buses? Oh, they would never overload anything! Google: Youtube “Most cowded train in the world.”
Well, factor in that the survivor mentioned was a British national of Indian origin, and there were at most 52 Anglo Saxons on board.
But let's look at this logically. If you were a Brit flying from India to London, would you want to fly on Air India, or British Airways?
Pakistani Bomb?
It was 110 degrees, humid and the plane was heavily loaded for a long flight
It looks like the flaps were not deployed for take off.
It looks like the plane actually over ran the runway and the pilot pulled the plane off the runway in the run off area of the runway to avoid crashing into the fence. . The plane was able to get off the ground due to ground effect but as soon as it got some altitude it lost ground effect, was too slow to fly and it mushed into the ground.
Didn't see anything that looked like an explosion, engine failure or bird strike to the engines.
