The riots of a sanctuary state.
“The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers,” Gov. Gavin Newsom explained in a June 7 statement.
“That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions. LA authorities are able to access law enforcement assistance at a moment’s notice. We are in close coordination with the city and county, and there is currently no unmet need. The Guard has been admirably serving LA throughout recovery. This is the wrong mission and will erode public trust.”
Californians might have noticed something missing from the governor’s statement.
Leading up to Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more than 100 people illegally present in the United States. Those arrested include Rolando Veneracion-Enriquez of the Philippines, whose criminal history includes burglary and intent to commit rape. Ecuadorian national Jose Gregorio Medranda Ortiz was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for drug trafficking. Mexican national Armando Ordaz is gang member sentenced for sexual battery.
Previously deported Mexican Victor Mendoza-Aguilar is a gang member guilty of assault with a deadly weapon. The criminal histories of Mexican nationals Delfino Aguilar-Martinez, Alan Hernandez-Morales, and Lionel Sanchez-Laguna include assault, discharging firearms in a home, and so forth.
After the arrests, mobs stormed a federal detention facility in downtown Los Angeles. According to the federal Department of Homeland Security (DHS), more than 1,000 rioters surrounded the building and assaulted ICE officers, whose “family members have been doxed and targeted as well.” Gov. Newsom didn’t see it that way.
“Continued chaotic federal sweeps, across California, to meet an arbitrary arrest quota are as reckless as they are cruel,” said the governor in a June 6 statement. “Donald Trump’s chaos is eroding trust, tearing families apart, and undermining...”

Newsom doesn’t do $hit. He poses and eats dinners at fancy restaurants.
After the riots are quelled, I do hope that a treasure chest of these gems is stored for use in the 2026 elections.
Newsom and Bass want it destroyed and if not they would do something
Newscum, Bass and Schiff claim the rioters couldn’t stop themselves from destroying things and attacking people. They were frightened and forced to do it due to the National Guard and Trump.
Like the logic of muggers, home invaders and carjackers who had to commit crimes because they wanted more money. Not on their list: getting a job or two jobs and refraining from spending on drugs and luxuries.
Four dead in Ohio. Kent State was the high water mark of that era’s riots. It was also the swan song.
By the way, many like me are quite inflamed by the lawfare against Trump and the slanders on the TV media and the leniency given to leftist criminals.
Inflamed.
So can we do what we want in order to feel better?
Looters and arsonists caught in the act to be shot on site. Ultimately fewer will die. This is going to build until the defenders have to shoot real bullets. The DOJ, National Guard should get ahead of it and shoot back when deadly missiles are hurled at them. This is warfare initiated by invaders allied to domestic revolutionaries. They should be treated as such.
What if the Army and National guard were ONLY used to protect FEDERAL officers and buildings? Would the Mayor and Govenor beg to get support with the riots?
Sorry Liar Newsome, but we have already the reports of Mayor Bass refusing to send LAPD to assist federal agents being overrun by "peaceful protestors". LOCAL Law Enforcement may not have had any needs, but the federal agents and the federal courthouse were all left unprotected. The President does not need your permission to protect federal employees and properties.
If Newsome sues, I have to assume that this is the slam dunk that ends the lawsuit within 10 minutes.
Nixon was a politician. President Trump is not.
Er, it was well escalated before the NG was sent in.
When are the business owners and citizens going to speak up?
Silence is complicit.
Garbage cans and dumpsters.
It’s part of the Antifa playbook.
“ Newsom doesn’t do $hit. He poses and eats dinners at fancy restaurants.”
He really is a big nothing.
Doesn’t relate. The reference is to the fact that the riots stopped, didn’t taper off, they stopped when it became apparent that hey, this is getting serious.
