FOUR Russian airfields housing Putin's nuke bombers have reportedly been blitzed in an extraordinary drone strike - wiping out at least 40 aircraft. Ukrainian drones - reportedly launched from lorries inside Russia - targeted airbases in Belaya, Diaghilevo, Olenya and Ivanovo as part of a daring operation codenamed "Spiderweb".

This operation is more than a battlefield success—it’s a strategic masterstroke. It proves once again that Ukraine is not only defending its homeland with brilliance and courage, but also shielding the West from the ambitions of a dangerous alliance of authoritarian regimes.
By hammering Putin’s war machine and exposing the vulnerabilities of the Kremlin, Ukraine has delivered a blow to the Neo-Soviet imperialists—and sent a clear message to their enablers in Tehran and Pyongyang. This is a victory for freedom, for the West, and for every nation that stands against tyranny.

Would such a strike be possible or successful against an American airbase either here or abroad?
We have anti drone capabilities that are. Let’s call them robust.
So says MI-6.
This could be us in 10 years. Or tomorrow. It shows the utter foolishness of continued trillion-dollar spending on overpriced fighters/bombers. This is the future of Warcraft, and we are falling behind.
Definitely is a “Turning Point” of the war.
Going to be interesting to see what condition the European capitals will be in later this week.
Might push Russia into using nukes. Good job. 👍
“We have anti drone capabilities that are. Let’s call them robust.”
I kind of doubt Russia will go through the trouble of trying to place drones in the US or Europe, when they have far better options to which we have no defenses.
“Ukraine destroys ...”
You misspelled NATO.
Massive retaliation capabilities are a viable defense against any unknown offensive action. Russia has ambitions of course. Self destruction is probably not one of them. I’m not particularly worried.
I’m sure Linda Graham who was in Kyiv yesterday was though

BREAKING: A Ukrainian official reportedly says the Trump administration wasn’t notified in advance of the massive drone strike on Russian bases
President Putin calls an EMERGENCY security council meeting.
>>Might push Russia into using nukes. Good job
Exactly what I was thinking. Something small and tactical that could be described as proportional retaliation. He also has to retaliate for the drone attack on his helicopter. It’s getting personal. Wonder if he might go directly for Z.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to advance further I to parts of the Ukraine.
Let’s see what the Ruskie’s response it. They probably bomb the crap out of the Ukes again.
“launched from lorries inside Russia”
That seems odd.
A turning point has indeed been reached. God help Trump to have the wisdom to get out of this now. You are about to get your dreamed about war between NATO and Russia.
“Massive retaliation capabilities are a viable defense against any unknown offensive action. Russia has ambitions of course. Self destruction is probably not one of them. I’m not particularly worried.”
Hard to tell. Obviously Russia can put an end to the US, but I suspect their response will be towards Europe, likely taking out their government facilities, as they’re the ones that are out of control at this point.
The question is whether Trump will then want to see the US sent back to the Stone Age. I doubt he’ll choose that option.
I don’t believe that Ukraine, alone, had the power to do this. Some Euroweenie country used them for their own purposes.
