The United States of America may withdraw from the negotiation process to resolve the full-scale war in Ukraine if White House leader Donald Trump believes he is being "used," warns White House Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg on ABC News.
"I think when you talk about walking away if he believes he's being used and that there is no hope in progress going forward, he goes: 'We’re done with this. Europe, we leave it over to you'," Kellogg stated, commenting on Trump’s threats to exit the negotiation process. Negotiations on resolving war in Ukraine
Over the past few months, the United States has held a series of separate meetings with representatives from both Ukraine and Russia regarding a resolution to the full-scale war. During these talks, Washington proposed a full ceasefire to Kyiv, and Ukraine immediately supported the initiative. Russia, in turn, began putting forward its own demands.
Subsequently, Moscow repeatedly initiated so-called "ceasefires," but never adhered to them.
On May 16, direct talks between Ukraine and Russia were held in Türkiye for the first time in several years. During these talks, Kyiv and Moscow agreed on a large-scale prisoner exchange under the "1,000 for 1,000" formula. The exchange was carried out in three stages over the past weekend.
It’s also worth noting that at the start of his second presidential term, Trump repeatedly criticized Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. However, in recent months, his rhetoric toward Russia has noticeably shifted becoming significantly tougher.

Walk away President Trump.
Neither side wants Trump to get any credit for an end to the War. It’s similar to dealing with the DEMs and the GOP.
DO IT
Complete lie. Ukraine agreed to the US plan of a TOTAL 30 day ceasefire. Russia rejected it.
War would stop today, if Russia stopped invading and seizing more of Ukraine's land.
Ukraine accepts 30-day ceasefire in US talks: What it means for Russia war
The US has resumed military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine under a ceasefire deal awaiting Putin’s approval.

I agree, and in fact I think it will make them both see that Trump is their best chance of stopping this conflict and will move towards talking seriously about stopping the conflict, if Trump announces that he is stepping away from the negotiation process. Because Europe’s support will wilt away, because their bravado is not real. 🙂👍
Trump has finally come to a critical realization: Putin is not a rational actor — he’s a hysterical warmonger driven by delusions of imperial conquest.
After being repeatedly rebuffed and disrespected by the Kremlin, Trump now understands that diplomacy with fanatics is not only futile — it’s humiliating.
America cannot afford to play the fool in Moscow’s twisted game. Enough is enough. This farce of a hypotheical ceasefire must end. History has shown us that Russia doesn’t want peace — it thrives on chaos and war. It’s time to stand firm, not grovel. Trump must therefore abandon his pursuit of ceasefire and instead prepare America for Russia’s nuclear threat.
Get away from this insanity ASAP.
walking away from negotiations is not the same as walking away from support of Ukraine.
Walking away from negotiations is also a negotiation tactic, for warning the warring parties that things could get a lot worse if the fighting continues with no end in sight.
The EU is spending more money buying Russian energy that it is putting in as aid for Ukraine. When that stops, things will change.
I hope Team Trump remembers to exit NATO and the UN while they’re at it.
Trump has finally come to a critical realization: Zelenskyy is not a rational actor — he’s a hysterical warmonger driven by cocaine, grifting for US cash and fear of getting offed by his own neo-Nazi Azov guys.
You commie, Theodore!
As opposed to those warring Anglo-Saxon clans who warred all over the world.
Not sure how you can negotiate with Putin, when he has a 5,000 word essay on the official Kremlin website, why Ukraine cannot be free and independent of Russia

Guess whose money this 250 billion is?
It won’t come out of EU pockets.
I’ve watched police body cam videos less annoying than this bunch.
