Subsidize something and you get more of it.
Tax something and you get less of it.
Everybody knows that.

Lib Logic 101. The best way to cure the homeless problem is to give the homeless more benefits.

Feeding wildlife makes them forget their gathering instincts and become dependent on the handouts.
Similar to a video game playing failure-to-launch son who knows mom will yell down the stairs when dinner is ready.
And refill the bowls of Cheetos and Fritos when empty.
I remember in the university bookstore hearing the part-time clerk say to his friend: “I’m worried about this birthday next week. My father used to say I’d better get a career and a real job when I turn 35. I’m turning 35 and this time I’m afraid he really means what he said.”

Subsidize something and you get more of it. Beat me to it.
Basic economics is like esoteric wizardry to these morons.

Kalifornia’s Guv Nescum BRAGGED about his spending $24 BILLION on the homeless (really, The Homeless Industrial Complex). Nonprofits, NGOs, and, no doubt, his lovely extended family each received their 10% (or more).
Nescum just tried to blame and ask local Kalifornia communities to step up and “help” the homeless. Nescum is actually asking for $3 billion MORE “for the homeless.”

So, why do they bus them down the coast?

12,034 homeless people in the tri-county region this January, with 87% of them residing in Multnomah County, according to the preliminary data. More than half of those counted – 7,038 people – were unsheltered. So you can be sheltered but still homeless? Or does the 12,034 include turtles, who pretty much carry their shelter with them everywhere they go?

If you live in a homeless shelter or they are paying for you to be put up in a motel you are considered homeless but sheltered.
If you are not in one of those taxpayer supported arrangements you are considered homeless and unsheltered.

I will pass it along here in Mexico. Some of these folks are looking for a hand out, nice to know where to go to get a lift. Why work? If you can get someone to sustain you.

Yes, the whole Homeless BS is a huge money racket for the same poverty pimps who started raking in big profits from LBJ’s Great Society scams and have been proliferating ever since. And it’s all tax free.
If we really want to “end homelessness” we should tax the NGO’s like for-profit corporations, and maybe they’d all go out of business.
