CNN — Audio of then-President Joe Biden’s interview with former special counsel Robert Hur in the now-closed probe over Biden’s handling of classified documents was published by Axios on Friday.
The interview became one of the most notable and politically controversial parts of Hur’s investigation, which concluded there wasn’t enough evidence to charge Biden with criminal mishandling of records after his vice presidency. In a final report, Hur called Biden, 81 at the time, “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
The audio comes as questions about Biden’s physical and mental capabilities have returned to the spotlight. A forthcoming book – “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again” by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson – details signs of Biden’s decline while in office.

Given the realities of DC juries, there were no way, he could get any conviction of Biden over there.
And, if he described Biden as rumbling idiot, the media would call him some kind of right wing maniac.
so
“a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
was probably the most damaging statement he could do!
Everybody got the message that Biden is a rumbling idiot, but it was told in diplomatic way, so even the lefty media published it.
I think, Hur is a genius!
Biden sounds like someone trying to get off on an insanity plea.
Hur: how many fingers am I holding up?
Biden: Wednesday.
Vincent “the Chin” Gigante tried to prove that he was insane also. When Biden was running in 2020 a high percentage of people on this site knew the guy didn’t have this act together then. The Dems knew they were going to cheat it didn’t matter who they put up for president. They stuck his head on a pike and every Dem saluted it. Dead or alive they voted for him!
Hur misapplied the rule that a prosecutor should not bring charges if they are unsure that they will get a conviction. This rule only applies in cases where the prosecutor is unsure that they have evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. It is not to be used in cases where the prosecutor thinks that the defendant won’t be convicted due to their mental or medical condition. Hur should have proceeded with the prosecution. If Biden had been found guilty, his mental condition could have been considered at the time of sentencing.
Robert Hurs job was to determine whether crimes were committed. Bidens lawyers job is to determine the mental health of their client.
After the transcript of the interview was released, the left demonized Robert Hur, portraying him as being bullying, disrespectful and insensitive towards Biden. From the audio I’ve heard so far, nothing could be further from the truth. Hur sounded patient, even sympathetic towards Biden, similar to a child dealing with an elderly parent suffering from dementia.
Hur wouldn't have been able to take him to trial or do a plea deal until his presidency was over..
And will it do so?
Will the Dems releasing the audio from the Hur interview of Joe Biden embarrass them enough to make them shut up and retreat from the money-making spotlight?
It will not because it doesn’t address the fundamental need for them to be in the spotlight. They need money and either they spent what they stole or grifted or they can’t access the offshore hidden stuff because there’s too much attention and eyeballing on them to do so. Which?
Poor memory, or selective memory?
Hur is a disgrace.
He well knew Biden was incapacitated - and when it is A-OK for a “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” to be the leader of the “free” world?
