SHANGHAI/BEIJING, May 13 (Reuters) - In a sprawling warehouse in a Shanghai suburb, dozens of humanoid robots are manoeuvred by their operators to carry out tasks like folding a T-shirt, making a sandwich and opening doors, over and over again.

AI powdered robot factory workers would mean that the PRC loses its labor cost advantages. We can build robots too.
Evidently Mao driven factory workers aren’t working out for them.

Several billion people are becoming useless eaters. Surplus population.

“So that means the working class will be eliminated?”
In a couple decades the “working class” could become the “unemployed class” and as such they have no value to the rich and powerful who control things. Does anyone really think that extraordinary efforts will be made to keep millions or billions of unemployed and by default, poor and dependent people around ? And that’s not just China, that is here too.
The thought of all those idle hands is scary as well is fascinating. Everyone will be on ecstasy more ways than one.
If it’s as well built as the other things they make then we have nothing to worry about.
