Young people, particularly young men, have had enough. They’re not going to be shamed. They’re not going to be intimidated. They’re not going to be suppressed. And there’s another thing they’re not going to be. They’re not going to be dead in the next 20 years like most of these Boomers are.

All across America the Orthodox Churches are experiencing a veritable tsunami of converts, mostly men <35.

“The Boomers...one of their worst qualities is that they just won’t go away.”

I’ll be dead soon enough. Geez, what’s the rush?

Boomers are at fault?

Well consider this.... It was the Greatest Generation that gave rise to the Baby Boom generation. It was the Greatest Generation that fundamentally effed over America in the 1960’s with the Vietnam War and LBJ’s (worst president ever) Great Society.

I think us Boomers have done very well considering what we were given.

People who engage in generational stereotyping are absolute idiots. I’m glad the author put the phrase “worst generation” in the headline. That saved me the trouble of reading his mindless moronic blather and drivel.

“”””” In the ’60s, politically active young people tended to be leftists, but those leftists eventually got power, and now they don’t want to give it up.””””

Yet the young American population as a group was voting republican and joining the military.

The term “greatest generation” was invented by an unintelligent, anti-American, communist “journalist” who dedicated his adult life to the task of lying to We the People.

I see it in my own family and extended relations. Many boomers especially the “hippies” who came of age in the 1960s, have morphed into statist-neo-marxist, war-mongering, MSM-Propaganda reactionaries.

Attend any pro LGBTQ, pro-Palestine, pro-illegal immigrant, anti-Trump rally in my city - and you will see a large majority of the crowd are boomers (mostly old white women) and a smaller amount of the standard, pink-haired, fat goth young people.

They have become a caricature.

My “hippie” 70 year-old leftist cousin admitted to me that his son, and all his son’s friends, are fed up with the Left and the Democrat Party. It made my day.

Yup. Kurt lost me on this one. “We need to talk” belongs on the lips of somebody who has no intention of listening.

The Boomers have been the worst generation in American history, and one of their worst qualities is that they just won’t go away.

I always thought it was the greatest generation who were the worst...they implemented all the social programs we got stuck with.
Boomers just added on.

It's like the endless Catholic-Protestant food fights on FR, which only serve to divide the conservative community over religion. The rescuing of this country has zero to do with Sola Fide or the Real Presence in the Eucharist. Then there are those who blame “da Joos” or the Masons for our problems. There are bad Silent Generation members, there are bad Boomers, there are bad Gen. X people, there are bad Millennials, there are bad Gen Z members. There are good ones too.

People who engage in generational stereotyping are absolute idiots.

Then why do we even have and use the word "generations" unless we believe they exist and have notable differences?

What you were given? That’s interesting. It seems like you were giving the greatest, strongest, richest country ever and it’s now close to ruins, it’s been robbed through printing money (started with Boomer Clinton), so please describe that.

My theory is the Boomers were so angry about Vietnam that they decided to destroy and pillage the country.

‘They were certainly the Greatest Generation!”

This writer and his article can kiss my boomer a _ _.

Who’s “we” Kemosabe? The word “generation” has legitimate meaning in the context of a family tree. Elsewhere, it’s just a way for idiots to give a false semblance of factual reasonableness to their idiocy.

So speak for yourself. If you feel that there exist “generations” in the wider society with notable differences ... you’re either a perpetrator or a victim of leftist brainwashing. Groupthink is for leftists.

I treat people as individuals. I suggest you do the same, and drop this “whatever generation” blather and drivel.

I’m very disappointed that Schlichter feels the need to tear into “boomers” so viciously. The country fought communism under boomers and is not full blown communist because of boomers who fought the “counter culture” at every turn. Applying such a broad brush to a generation is weak.

Tom Brokaw named them the greatest generation , because they fought and won World War II.

It was before my time, but the social changes of the ‘60s seem to have set us on a trajectory to where we are today.

But it’s not as if all baby boomers in the ‘60s were hippies and going to Woodstock. Far from it. Yet stereotypes develop, and so some want to blame things today on all members of the baby boom generation.
