This is the beginning of the end for vaccines. This statement, “ Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced a plan that would require placebo-controlled studies for all new vaccines, surprising some experts who noted that such testing already routinely takes place,” is a blatant lie. Not one vaccine in the CDC schedule was tested against a placebo.
“Safety” testing? How about “does it even work” testing?
And if it doesn’t then it should be illegal to sell and/or distribute as fraud and misrepresentation.

The COVID shot for kids makes me angry. COVID had little effect on Children but the vaccine has terrible results. A family in Massachusetts fled to Texas to avoid these vaccines and Texas let Massachusetts win.
The FDA is a bad joke. They banned pseudoephedrine from over-the-counter sales. That pushed over-the-counter sales to phenylephrine, which they allowed to be marketed. Then, after decades, they declared phenylephrine useless as a decongestant. But it is still sold in “daytime” flu and cold remedies. If you can’t tell whether an oral decongestant works or not — and it should be pretty obvious within an hour or two — how are you going to know whether a vaccine works?

For a long time I assumed that the placebos that were used in these trials was saline or something, but I did some research a few years ago and found that is not correct.
if you look up the definition it says “A placebo is an inactive substance or treatment that looks identical to the real medication being tested in a clinical trial. It contains no active ingredients and has no direct therapeutic effect. Placebos are used in medical studies or clinical trials to compare with the actual treatment being tested.”
the AI now claim that there are not drugs and other active ingredients in the placebos used, but that is not what I found several years ago.
I guess you could look up placebo blinding, but there is much less info than there was pre-covid
