President Donald Trump has called out liberal media pollsters for pushing anti-Trump narratives aimed at tarnishing his legacy at the 100-day mark.
"Great Pollster John McLaughlin, one of the most highly respected in the industry, has just stated that The Failing New York Times Poll, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll, about a person named Donald J. Trump, me, are fake polls from fake news organizations," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Monday morning.
"The New York Times has only 37% Trump 2024 voters, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll has only 34% Trump Voters, unheard of numbers unless looking for a negative result, which they are."
Additionally, the ABC News poll used "adults" in the U.S. for their sample and only weighted "registered voters" from that pool of adults – meaning illegal migrants his administration is asking to self-deport, if not forcibly seeking to remove from the country, could be among those polling negatively against Trump.
Ultimately, The ABC/Washington Post poll used their sample to share the narrative "Trump's approval rating is lower than for any past president at the 100-day mark in their first or second terms" just two days before Trump reaches that mark.
"These people should be investigated for election fraud, and add in the FoxNews pollster while you're at it," Trump's post continued. "They are negative criminals...

He does have a point. He questioned the polls during the election.
Raise your hand if you have been called by a pollster, or know anyone called by a poll.
They’re pimping a CNN “poll” saying that people who want the illegals gone has dropped from 65% to 55%. That’s just the far left “media”. Americans aren’t that stupid except for those who watch CNN and MSN.
Did you question the polls when his approval was at 53%? You probably didn’t because you loved those numbers.
Your thoughts seem more in line with the females at the View.
I don’t care what you think. The fact is time and time again on this website people only dismiss polls they don’t like. Like a bunch of libs.
Let it pass like gas, hes on top we know it h knows it. The only ones joyous are the fools that pay them attention
We had little reason to think the 53% were fudged to show stronger Trump support, as that never happens. More likely the opposite was true... stronger than 53% support. Remember in the early days he had 80-90% agreement on several issues like immigration/deportation
But now, as the pile-on surges at the 100 day milestone, it was time to make up some s**t, which they clearly did as internals reveal.
You saw the photo cropping at the Pope's funeral...."offensive" blue suits were all over the gathering, but were often cropped out to make DjT look like the only "offender". We don't distrust the media enough.
A lot depends on the poll. Most polls only measure whether people are believing the media spin, not what those polled actually believe. To get an accurate picture of the public’s opinion on a policy matter, the question needs to contain accurate information rather than simply relying on what people have heard from the media.
Polling done when Terri Schiavo was being starved to death showed that when people were given a hypothetical scenario with the same facts as Schiavo’s case, people had a totally different opinion than when asked about Terry Schiavo. Which proved that they were only saying what they did about Schiavo because they didn’t have the true facts about her case.
Same thing applies to a lot of polls, and when that happens it is totally appropriate to question the accuracy of the poll.
I will believe a poll when it includes questions like the following:
1) By an executive order he may or may not have known he was making, President Biden gave blanket parole to immigrants from Venezuela, Cuba, and Haiti, bypassing the individual vetting required by law. Should President Trump be able to revoke that blanket parole by executive order?
2) Should immigrants who enter the US illegally be allowed to remain in the US an average of 7 years while awaiting a scheduled immigration hearing that they may or may not attend?
3) Should immigrants who enter the US illegally be deportable without an immigration hearing, as has been done by every administration before the current one?
Come on GOP. Learn about tariffs yourself and then spread the news, cuz you ain't doin' it so far,
The only polls worth paying attention too are Rasmissen, right, and Atlisentiel.
The MSM and the left are running through the entire playlist in an attempt to destroy Trump. I noticed a very fake Reuters poll a few days ago as well. Trump should sue them for making up slander.
It’s time for a Presidental Address
Like the polls that said Harris was a sure winner...lol.
Rmpg
Good point.
Another thing is that right now we are like a woman in labor at 7cm. Transition. Hell unleashed - but it means that the birth is near. And the birth can only happen if that hell is unleashed for a time.
People without that perspective will view today’s news totally differently than those with that perspective.
And you’re right, that the GOP should be doing a better job of presenting that perspective.
> Did you question the polls when his approval was at 53%?

Agree.
Relentless drumbeating by the press, virtually 100% negative reporting, 24/7.
“Trump is a Fascist!”
“Trump is a Nazi!”
“Trump is Hitler!”
“Oh, look! He’s singling out immigrants, like Hitler!”
“Oh, look! He’s arresting judges that oppose him, like Hitler!”
It’s working.
Even worse, many of his base are disappointed with the lack of response to rogue judges, the Epstein list fiasco, and the arrests of small fry over the really big fish that need to be taken down.
Fake news is faker than fake.
I have been ride or die with DJT since 2015 and will continue.
Rome wasn’t built in a day and a lot of the issues Trump is tackling do not have short-term solutions or results.
But, I feel that the normies who are not plugged into the issues 24/7 are going to need to see some significant and measurable positive things to happen outside of immigration, like a steep drop in gas prices, cheaper groceries (not just .01% monthly changes in macroeconomic statistics), and noticeable tax cuts for <$100K income bracket in order to stay on the Trump Train long term.
The plugged-in right wing is also going to get frustrated without seeing some deep-state scalps and perp walks.
Unfortunately I think that this combination is going to result in some erosion in DJT’s support in the polls for now.
Good analogy. Unfortunately, the real benefit of tariffs are enhanced and improved methods of production, economic growth, which creates new jobs and lower prices. Those benefits are in the long run. Alas, politicians have no interest in anything that doesn’t fit their definition of the long run...which is their term of office.
People are pissed that Trump is NOT ignoring the tyrannical judges.
I believe his approval numbers ARE down.
