Remember when Democrats thought they could manipulate public opinion by turning an alleged MS-13 gang member into their poster child for "wrongful deportation"? Well, that plan just crashed and burned spectacularly.
The left's desperate attempt to paint Kilmar Abrego Garcia as some innocent "Maryland man" wrongly expelled from our country has completely backfired. A new CBS News poll shows Americans aren't buying what the Democrats are selling. By a decisive 12-point margin (56%-44%), Americans support President Trump's aggressive deportation program.
Most Americans think Mr. Trump's policies have reduced border crossings. Most also continue to approve of his deportation program in general.
Meanwhile, three-quarters say it isn't acceptable if some legal residents are detained by mistake as part of that program. A large eight in 10 say it wouldn't be acceptable if some legal residents are deported to foreign countries.
Even more embarrassing for Democrats, that support has actually increased from earlier this month.

But wait, it gets better. Independent voters—you know, the ones Democrats desperately need—back Trump's deportation policies by 8 points (54%-46%). And men? They're all in, supporting deportations by a whopping 26-point margin (63%-37%).
This shouldn't surprise anyone paying attention. While Democrats and their media lapdogs have been busy shedding crocodile tears over Kilmar Abrego Garcia, they ignore or dispute his MS-13 ties, and completely ignore the domestic abuse accusations against him or his suspected involvement in human smuggling. Some innocent victim.

What is the definition of a “legal resident”. Is it someone who goes through the application process in his home country, gets vetted by the US, and approved to enter by the US?
Or is it someone who shows up unexpectedly at a border crossing, pulls out his cell phone and follows the instructions to claim asylum, and then gets let into the country to wait for their hearing in 2033 or so?
I strongly believe that the Leftists are CONFLATING the two, to make Americans believe there’s no difference.
It appears the Democrats are trying to get “Due Process” court trials for illegals. Did Obama or Clinton do court trial when they deported millions?

Now the Dems are protesting when no innocent, no political refugee, but a violent gangbanger is being PROPERLY and LEGALLY returned to whence he came and where he truly belongs.

Only thing is, I only answer a phone call if I recognize the number. Everybody else can leave a message. And if it’s a polling company I definitely don’t pick up.
The normal women who might answer a call just to talk to an adult are the moms of young kids but they are way too busy to pick up such a call anyway. lol
So however you slice it a bunch of these women responding are not normal.
Either that or I’m not. lol.
Because opposing illegal immigration is seen as opposing minorities, and is therefore seen as "mean", and hence socially unacceptable (especially in urban areas).
Once social acceptability of opposing illegal immigration hits a certain critical mass, women should turn against illegals in droves.
How is it compassionate to minorities to support a system in which most women who enter the US illegally have been raped en route? How is it compassionate to let criminals who victimize ALL races including their own go free simply because of their skin color?
I agree with your assessment, but once again it is sheer stupidity to accept that fighting for immigration to be done according to the laws (that are there to protect everybody) is racist.
And I blame the churches, to be perfectly honest - and I have emailed my pastors about this as well. The churches have acted as though “being good to the alien” - which Scripture describes as not exploiting them or refusing them justice in the courts - means that justice doesn’t matter. In order to be “good” to the sojourners among us, we have to allow everybody to break laws to get into the country and reward them for that lawlessness by giving them free housing, free healthcare, free food, and free lawyers, and by overlooking whatever crimes they may do rather than giving their victims justice as God very, very adamantly requires of us.
The lawlessness we see is because the churches and synagogues are silent on what God repeats over and over and over and over again in the Old Testament: that we HAVE to purge the evil from among us by exacting justice and showing no favoritism. To allow a person to steal from another or kill another is NOT “kindness”; it is the denial of justice and an absolute abomination in the sight of God. Yet that is exactly what our government and our “upstanding society” has become, without a word of protest from the guardians of the Jewish or Christian faiths.

As long as immigrant gang members, criminals, DUI drivers are kicked out the vast majority of us are supporters. Most of us don’t care if the immigrant has “papers” or not. Their behavior has forfeited their privilege to be here.
In the future if deportation does extend to the illegals who sit beside us in church, and who work an honest job and support their family watch the mood switch.
The left is intent in finding one, just one, such case that they can headline in the media.
Right now tariffs are the only part of the Trump agenda that is not supported by the majority. There has been no good case made for tariffs .... yet. There is no paper written that I can put in a link (that I have found) that has a well thought out explanation and argument for tariffs.

Well I’m a male and think you are referring to a mother’s instinct. But from my perspective many, if not most, women also think with their emotions. The democrats know this and play into it.
There should be100” video projection screens in the front of the House and Senate with some kid running a PowerPoint presentation with color graphics. Run these talks like a professional business presentation instead of kindergarten.
