Trump needs to be willing to turn Putin, Russia 'into fish food,' outspoken GOP senator says

As Russia continues its warfare against Ukraine, one outspoken Republican senator is encouraging President Donald Trump to put Russian President Vladimir Putin in his place.

"Putin has reneged on every promise that he has made to President Trump. His latest proposal is, well, nothing. He wants to keep all the territory that he's taken," Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said on the latest installment of "Fox News Sunday."

"He wants to prohibit Ukraine from joining NATO, and he wants America and Europe to stop helping Ukraine," he added. "I think that Putin thinks that America has taken the bullet train to Chumptown."

Senator Kennedy said “If it wasn’t for the American taxpayer, Putin would be in Paris right now.”

Such ignorant bullcrap. About the last think Russia wants is to be in control over that Euro clownshow. And the Russian Army is about 10% of the size it was during the Fulda Gap days. While he makes that accusation, NATO has rushed east 1000 miles and launched about 5 color revolutions on the Russian border, and tried one IN Russia in 2011.

And notice how he keep calling him “Pewtin”. That is the oddball British pronunciation. That tells you who is whispering in his ear.

I’m no fan of Putin. But that really is a ridiculous statement. Russia has its hands full trying to win a war with Ukraine. And Poland alone is much stronger than Ukraine is.

I dunno. If Sen. Kennedy was trying to make some sort of reasonable point, he sure did fail there.

John Kennedy says a lot of smart things.

But he sure is wrong on this one. We really don’t need WW3.

“Let’s just be grateful that he isn’t the John Kennedy who got us through the Cuban Missile Crisis without a nuclear war.”

Oh, you mean the John Kennedy who promised that he would support the invasion of Cuba with air support then PULLED that support at the last minute? THAT John Kennedy? ** SPIT **

“So, must be willing to start WW III and risk nuclear war over a war that has absolutely nothing to do with our national security?”

The Democrats, Neocons, and most of the Zeepers here support that outcome, so why not a few elected Republicans?

Kennedy can be hilarious with his southern witticisms but he is establishment GOP all the way.

Kennedy just showed us where his true loyalty lies. And it is not with the people of the US or the principles of liberty.

The US needn’t be the enforcer in this. The Euros are right there with their own armies and nukes. Let them deal with Russia.

Your terms are acceptable.

Now lets put that in writing so that every EU soy-jack here understands it.

Putin putting that many Russian young men into the Ukraine meat grinder when there is a peace option on the table is disgusting. Is Putin getting advice from China? That basically helps China more than Russia?

Come on Putin - get to the peace table and let’s get this crap over with.

No, as always you have it wrong.

We know that Mother Russia has bare cupboards and her economy is starved beyond life by the Trump sanctions and repeated military losses on the battlefield.

Mother Russia is deteriorating into worm food

Its only a matter of time before Trump dumps Ukraine

He doesn’t have the cards either. But at least he’s smart enough not to ante-up on a losing hand.

It is not the role of the USA to destroy Russia. They have not attacked the USA. I am completely against these fighting words against Putin and Russia.

Ukraine and its dispute with Russia are NONE OF OUR BUSINESS.

Nothing in Ukraine is worth World War III and a devastating nuclear weapons exchange between Russia and the USA.

This is an Aussie. The key reqmt, for me, for any video on youtube about Russia is that the channel must pre-date the war. This is defense against propaganda. Any channel post war is too vulnerable to being funded propaganda. But this Russell guy predates the war.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT-Vs_eRQDg

A year old, post sanctions. What a typical suburban (not inside Moscow city) apartment looks like and what life is like there.

And this is more recent, a few days ago.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88utAF7NOlM

There is a young lady who has had a channel in Russia for 6 or 7 yrs. She posts videos with the focus “the coldest place on Earth”. Yakutsk. -60 degs C. Population 250,000. She gives a look at that area of rural Russia. It’s cold. It’s not destitute.

Anyway I encourage ppl to use youtube to insulate themselves from propaganda. You can ignore what is being narrated or pointed at and look behind the guy in front of the camera. In the case of Moscow what I notice is heavy car traffic, displaying no scarcity of fuel sometimes claimed on FR. I also notice just how modern the scanners are for the grocery stores. And . . . that vid is a soccer match. Filled with military aged men who were told all fled Russia to avoid the war.

An incredible number of lies are being told. You can get your own data.

He has been a Uke regular. Defends every cent they send there. He’s good on a lot of stuff, but he’s a damn goofball here. We need to get out of these wars.
