While Kennedy does not have the authority to order communities to halt water fluoridation, he can instruct the CDC to withdraw its recommendation supporting the practice. Additionally, Kennedy can collaborate with the EPA to review and potentially revise the federally allowed levels of fluoride in drinking water. These moves could significantly influence local and state decisions on fluoridation policies nationwide.

Fluoride *may* be good for teeth, but it IS toxic to brains.
It also leeches lead from older metal pipes.
Wake me when he addresses all the covid policies, the jabs and zero direction from hhs to those still persecuting/discriminating against the holdouts.
An official mea culpa would be not only fitting, but obligatory.
I’m done with him: My other hand runneth over. He should have been merely an advisor to POTUS; running HHS is WAY beyond his capabilities.
They have one time treatments for kids now...no reason for it being in our water.
As a drug, fluoride should be used with consumer informed consent. Toothpaste, dental treatments, bottled water (can promote it with teeth health benefits if desired), all utilize consent.
Public water supplies is not informed consent - and it is not even controlled dosing. Those that drink lots of it get larger doses of a drug that toothpaste companies tell us to spit out. Those with dentures don’t need it whatsoever.
Give me CLEAN water, with the option, should I choose to fluoridate myself (I won’t).
Mandrake, you ever seen a commie drink a glass of water ....?
Peace on earth Precious bodily fluids
Good for RFKj!
They really don’t, because they don’t list the downside.
I hear ya! He’s apparently been controlled vax-mafia oppo from the time he joined/renamed CHD.
All the more reason to ban fluoride from drinking supplies.
For toothpaste, the downside is NOT on the tubes, it’s NOT on the box. At best, it’s on the manufacturer’s web site, buried in lots of clicks to get to.
I mean, who informed would choose, yeah, I’ll take the stupid kids that I can feed all the candy I want to and still have slightly better smiles?
As someone who lived in an area with unfloridated water for a while... for those who haven’t, lets just say you will enjoy seeing things you never saw in your life.
I’ll never forget the first young child I saw with false teeth when I moved to California...
2-3 and 4 year olds with teeth that looked like something you would find in a 60 something homeless person. Never ever saw anything like it in my entire life, and I lived a lot of different places and states in my life... but that was absolutely shocking and stunning... and it wasn’t 1 or 2 kids, it was a fairly frequent thing.
That said, the rise of fluoride in tooth paste combined with much better dental care probably makes fluoridation of water an unnecessary part of modern life.
Many people are opposed to fluoridation and there is enough scientific foundation to justify their concerns that the risks outweigh the benefits in modern day society given the many options to get alternate fluoride treatments to address dental health concerns.
Currently, pretty much everyone is forced to use fluoridated water because there is no realistic alternative.
FWIW, there is significant research that shows that fluoride compounds are a vital part of the autophagy regulation process and may actually have health benefits as well as risks.
From a brain health perspective, high fluoride levels do seem to have some toxicity effects and may be implicated in brain cancers but, on the other hand, fluoridation of water reduces the amount of harmful bacteria in the teeth and gums.
These dental bacterial have have a route to the brain through the dental nerve system and they been implicated as a potential major factor in causing and accelerating the onset of Alzheimer's and other neuro degenerative diseases.
Like arsenic, a little fluoride seems to be necessary and beneficial but too much is a bad thing.
In general, people's health has taken a huge uptick since fluoridation began in the mid 1940s and people in their 50s and 60s looked, acted and were physically much older than these days.
Maybe Grace Slick was ahead of the curve when she sang that preservatives might be preserving us.
I just checked, and fluoride most definitely *IS* listed on the tube of Crest in my bathroom. In two places. It’s also on the box containing the tube of Colgate in the drawer waiting to be used next.
In other words: 0.00007%
Millions of Americans have more than that much fluoride in their natural drinking water.
So, how come we do not have millions of fluoride disabled adults and children in the USA?
This looks like a total scam to me.
The two most passionate groups advocating for No Fluoride are USA tort lawyers and USA dentists.
I think you misunderstood the post.
It said Crest does not explain the "down side" of consuming fluoride.

Like bones, teeth get damaged and repaired every day. If a person has the ability to repair teeth, the body repairs cavities and damage caused by bacteria. For these people, getting teeth damaged by bacteria doesn’t matter.
Like bones, having more retinol (a type of vitamin a) than one needs reduces the body’s ability to repair teeth.

This looks like a total scam to me.

Kids that live in areas with fluoridated water do worse in IQ tests.
The problem is that bacterial combined with the resulting periodontal diseases and inflammation allow the bacteria to either enter or irritate brain tissue. Over time, this bacterial action creates conditions which contribute to Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative conditions
For this reason, many dentists recommend the use of water pick type device with a peroxide or other anti bacterial agent mixed into the water because it keeps bacteria down and does not do micro damage to gum tissue and bleeding gums which allows bacteria to enter the blood and work against the brain
