Amen
So just start making some deals to stop the bleeding.
So what “deal” will PDJT offer them if they drop their tariffs? We drop our tariffs and it is “free trade”? If so the overseas cheap labor train rolls on and the offshoring of manufacturing continues.
This is awesome if deals are actually being made. If not, then what’s the point?

A trade deficit—when a country imports more goods and services than it exports—doesn’t directly equate to a “transfer of American wealth” to other countries in the simplistic sense of giving away assets for nothing. Instead, it reflects a flow of money abroad in exchange for goods, services, and financial assets.
When the U.S. runs a trade deficit (e.g., $972 billion in 2023 per U.S. Census Bureau data), Americans send dollars to foreign countries to pay for imports—like electronics from China or cars from Germany. In return:
- Goods and Services: The U.S. receives tangible products and intangible services (e.g., software, tourism). This isn’t a loss of wealth but an exchange—dollars for stuff that Americans use or consume.
- Financial Assets: Foreigners often reinvest those dollars back into the U.S. by buying assets like Treasury bonds, stocks, or real estate. In 2023, foreign holdings of U.S. financial assets grew, with net foreign purchases of U.S. Treasuries alone exceeding $200 billion (U.S. Treasury data). This means dollars don’t just vanish; they cycle back as claims on future U.S. output or ownership stakes
Foreigners hold dollars or dollar-denominated assets (e.g., $7 trillion in Treasuries as of 2024), effectively lending to the U.S. at low rates. This privileges the U.S., delaying any “wealth loss” as long as demand for dollars persists.
I support his efforts, but he needs to tape his mouth shut at times. Ugh.
Must be terrible for you knowing Kamala didn't get in.
Maybe next time.
So happy to hear a president speaking like a longshoreman instead of the “my dear friends across the aisle” crap. No phoniness with Trump.
It’s a de facto ban...

“...”To do that [tracing] in a way that would still make their product a cost-efficient thing to ship that product across to Australia, there are very few companies — virtually none at the moment — that are willing to take that on,” Alders said...”
A ban by any other name is still a ban.
Trump was right.
Again.
btt!!
Stay humble there Trump
Would you take an oath to support President Trump?
“I agree - how can Trump be so stupid as to say that”
Just in case you are stupid enough to misread what I said, rather than just making a snarking comment, and you probably are that stupid, it was your comment I had in quotes.
What’s your handle at Democrat Underground?
