The United States and South Korea have reached an agreement to temporarily redeploy Patriot missile defense systems from the Korean Peninsula to the Middle East, according to sources cited Friday.

The move, described as a “monthslong” partial deployment, is the first known case involving the transfer of U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) assets to another region.

According to multiple sources, the systems being relocated include the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) interceptors, which form a key part of the U.S.-South Korea layered missile defense network against North Korean threats.

Why is this not top secret?

Now the North Koreans know.

“I’m surprised these assets weren’t commandeered by Biden to be destroyed by the Russians in Ukraine.”

Hard to believe we have any left. I wonder if Hegseth could find any tanks, should we need them for a LEGITIMATE ground war somewhere.

“Now the North Koreans know.”

So do the Iranians. Now they have another thing to consider along with the two carriers, B-2s, missile firing submarines and the agitated Israelis.

Do the Iranians feel lucky?

There is very little chance that the Iranians are going to cave and dismantle their nuclear weapons programs.

In fact, they are working with the Russians, North Koreans and Chinese on a crash program to field a working nuclear device before the Trump Administration's deadline.

Their goal is to go nuclear to halt Trump's attempts to destroy their capability on the conventional wisdom theory that once you go nuke, you never go back.

A confrontation on this is inevitable as the world simply cannot allow Iran to have a nuclear weapons capability.

They would have to have a deliverable nuclear weapon. The great question in the 1950's was, "Can the AEC [Atomic Energy Commission] make ballistic missiles practical?" V-2's or any other 1950's technology ballistic missile was not considered a practical weapon without a nuclear warhead. The B-29 had to be modified to accept Little Boy and Fat Man.

Making a Uranium Gun nuclear weapon is just a matter of getting enough refined isotope. Making an implosion trigger weapon is a bigger challenge. Making a reliable implosion weapon another challenge.

Iran would be insane (not a doubtful proposition, admittedly) to light off a nuclear weapons test unless they had at least ten copies dispersed. The head of the Quds force was recently revealed to be an Israeli agent. The Israelis are reading their mail and sharing with the U.S., and it is likely the NSA has penetrated their communications networks as well. If they demonstrate a nuclear weapon, it is likely that Israel will demolish their refinement facilities and kill as many of their key technical staff and support infrastructure such as power plants, as well.

If every country has nukes, would that prevent future wars?

“Do the Iranians feel lucky?”

4.7 Magnitude earthquake has struck moments ago another possible underground nuclear weapon test near northern and Central Iran, possibly inside the mountains one large peak on the seismograph with no after quakes.

After what we did to the Houthis in Yemen, they know well what we are capable of. And what Israel is capable of.

The North Koreans have thoroughly infiltrated the South. As soon as those missiles are packed up, if not before, the North will know all about it. They were probably tipped off by traitors as soon as the orders reached South Korea. Not much is secret on that peninsula.

This report is based on an Al Arabiya report when a US C-5M monster cargo plane landed at Nevatim airbase in Israel after a flight from Ramstein. Seems like just speculation.

Is the reason we have to shift things around because we gave billions in weapons to that coke-head Ukrainian ZMan? And billionss more to study the effect eating pizza has on transgender mice?

The bigger, unsaid, problem is why can’t we just make more missile systems in a short time in stead of shifting them around.

After dancing around this issue for decades, Trump has placed the assets in the area to actually attack Iran and to destroy the Iranian nuclear capability and much of urban Iran. Iran is also a signatory of the non proliferation treaty, which Trump could use as a legal basis for such an attack. We and Israel would pay a terrible price to do this but the Iranian regime would be destroyed. This war would derail everything Trump is doing domestically as well. It’s a no win situation for both sides but Iranian leadership would all pay with their lives.

The new Iranian president has been the most outspoken proponent for Western economic rapprochement which can be had with a deal and lifting of sanctions. That was before he got into this verbal pi$$ing contest with Trump.

Putin has been ready to mediate and provide peaceful access to nuclear power for Iran. That idiot Z has made this all the more difficult but not impossible.

With what I’ve seen from both sides this past few days, I think their pants are now zipped up and they’re ready to talk turkey.

I don’t know what you think of Scott Ritter but he’s dead on regarding this.

Scott Ritter is a paid Russian and Iranian social media influencer.

If we are going to take out the Iranian nuclear weapons capability it is now or never time.

Given Iran's’ behavior over the last two years, it is clear that we cannot allow Iran to develop a nuclear capability. It's that simple.
