WASHINGTON — Elon Musk on Tuesday called for the arrest of leaders of “fake” organizations that receive federal funds — saying they represent a politically connected “uniparty” that’s engaged in “money laundering” of taxpayer resources.
The Department of Government Efficiency chief’s call for legal action comes as he spearheads efforts to trim annual federal spending by $1 trillion to halve the deficit.
“With respect to the non-governmental organizations, these sort of fake NGOs, I think there needs to be a number of arrests,” Musk said in an interview on Fox News’ “The Five.”
“These are fake charities [run by] mostly Democrats… there’s sometimes a little bit of Republican in there, because they sometimes throw the Republicans a bone to say, ‘Hey, be quiet about this.’ So that’s where you start getting the uniparty thing going on,” Musk said.
“But it is overwhelmingly to Democrats, and they give these billions of dollars to NGOs run by Democrats that then go through a whole network of additional NGOs — it’s a giant money laundering scheme. Really at this point, I think the word NGO and money laundering are almost synonymous.”
The term “uniparty” is commonly used by President Trump’s supporters to describe politicians of both major parties who hold similar thinking on government operations, spending and foreign policy — generally in opposition to Trump’s populist agenda.
Musk does not have the power to order criminal investigations, but his immense influence could elevate the idea among Trump’s appointees at the Justice Department and in US attorney offices.

I now understand the French Revolution much better.
It was always obvious that, for example, Planned Parenthood was doing it. I mean, they were openly receiving tax-payer funds, and openly donating it back. I could never figure out why that was apparently okay. I mean, if the NRA had done it, the entire left hand side of the country would have screamed at the top of their little tiny lungs.
She needs to do better... maybe 80’s and early 90’s hair. Yeah man! The slick-ironed look is so high school.
Pam needs to do better...maybe go for 80’s, early 90’s
hairdos. That slick-ironed look of hers is so high school.
BINGO ! !
Exactly.
what happened to the guy who was supposed be arrested for the 400,000 SS number scam!??
Theyre starting to talk tough about arrests, but we havent seen one yet!!
I linked to that pic 20 times on my FB page and no one acknowledge it!! I see you found it on imgru!! Thanks!! I just swiped the link from you!!
Pic speaks louder than words, but the words on this pic say it all!!
No I didn't. I didn't say anything like that.
I misunderstood your intent in wanting them cut off all tax dollars. Would you still hold that if it was the Salvation Army or Samaritan’s Purse instead of spending it on FEMA? If an NGO gets more done with less money than a Federal agency with permanent staff on full retirements and medical care bennies, why would you oppose that?
What you propose sounds good in theory but, yes, I would still oppose tax dollars going to any NGOs. As soon as they open the money faucet to any such org the org will be corrupted by the pols who are funding it. Or more directly the CIA and State Dept. as we have seen in numerous cases.
They would infiltrate them with people they can control and squeeze out anyone who wasn’t along for the new agenda. That is what they’ve done with every NGO that USAID has been funding and why, for example, less than 30% of the money for AIDS care in Africa ever got to an African nation.
For my clarification, does the Salvation Army or Samaritan’s Purse receive funding from the government? I was not aware that they did.
You say that, but that's also true of the agencies themselves. I give you Samaritan's Purse, again as compared to FEMA. If somebody has to do a particular job (and FEMA is an unconstitutional insurance function in my opinion), at least you can fire them and hire somebody else.
She's basically become Ainsley Earhardt or Shannon Bream
I am also in favor of eliminating them and it appears that Trump is doing a lot in that direction.
Go DOGE!

Second Harvest Heartland defended its executive compensation and financial stewardship, but some legislators are concerned by the “out of control” salaries at nonprofits requesting public dollars.

Minnesota’s hunger crisis is growing—and apparently so is the appetite for big executive pay at one of the state’s top food nonprofits. Allison O’Toole, CEO of Second Harvest Heartland, earned $721,000 in total compensation in 2022—even as the nonprofit has lobbied for taxpayer funding and warned of rising hunger across Minnesota, where 26% of households with children are food insecure, according to its own research. Now, as O’Toole steps down after six years at the helm, lawmakers are raising questions.
Concerns first raised during legislative hearing. Rep. Pam Altendorf, R-Red Wing, told Alpha News that O’Toole’s salary issue first surfaced during a recent “food day” at the Capitol, when food shelf representatives, including O’Toole, testified before the House Children and Families Committee. “Rep. Bjorn Olson pulled the 990 [tax form] and shared Allison O’Toole’s salary with our committee members right before she testified,” Altendorf said. “That’s when the questions started.”
Rep. Marion Rarick, R-Maple Lake, later raised the issue during a March 17 House committee hearing where a DFL lawmaker questioned why a GOP bill was reducing funding for Second Harvest Heartland in a proposed agriculture budget. “It looks like the base funding for Second Harvest Heartland is $3.4 million and you reduce it by $900,000 in both the first biennium and the tails,” said Rep. Zack Stephenson, DFL-Coon Rapids. But Rarick said she thinks the organization “can handle it.”
“They do have a $260 million, that’s their gross revenue,” she said during the hearing. “What’s even more interesting, I think, is that their CEO, their top person, makes $721,000. Yeah, $721,000 is the top person … and they have 10 people that make more than the governor, which is more than $150,000. So that’s well over $2.6 million in their highest-paid people.”
