We use tabulating machines that count the votes as they are cast. When the polls close all they have to do is read the numbers on a display inside a door.................

A fast vote count cuts down on the opportunity for the Democrats to cheat

The Dem candidate here, Gay Valimont, ran against Matt Gaetz and lost in November, so 2X loser.

She had commercials constantly on the Radio and TV. I was getting tired of them. She made some big promises in them that we know she had no way of keeping.

Said she would get a VA Hospital built, would bring down the cost of health insurance, and all sorts of stuff she had no way of getting done.....................

Going to be long night ending with traditional ballot dump in Milwaukee

Remember this year RPW Chair Brian Schimming tried to unseat recently elected TPUSA Chair in Milwaukee Hilario De Leon. Hilario turned things around quickly, tripled membership but Schimming tried to unseat him. End result was the loss of about 3 weeks in Jan-Feb of CRUCIAL organizing time and following the process.

As long as this obese lying, intellectually dull turd is RPW Chair, losses will pile up in this state

We have something like that in Maine as well. The ballot is scanned after the voter puts it into the machine. Polls close at 8 pm and the election ward and two election clerks run the tape. One election clerk must be a registered Republican and the other a registered Democrat. The clerks then record results and account for all the ballots.
It works well although Portland has its usual problems.

Considering republicans don’t usually vote in special elections this is a landslide regardless

An estimated 88.8 percent of votes have been counted.

Meanwhile Maricopa County is still counting their Nov. 5 votes.

There was a lot more excitement for President Trump then for a Republican candidate running for the seat for the first time.

Being a special election, not as many voters turned out.

Everybody assumed Patronis would win easily, even though he looked a lot like Chris Christy............
