Democrat Says Killing Babies in Abortions Saves Money

A Colorado Democrat is facing massive criticism for promoting killing babies in abortions because “birth is too expensive.”

Colorado Democrats are pushing a controversial legislative agenda that would expand abortion, including taxpayer-funded abortions for low-income women and unrestricted abortions up to birth, arguing that killing babies would save the state money in the long run.

A bill pending before the Colorado legislature would require taxpayers to cover abortions for women on Medicaid, with proponents claiming it promotes “equity and fairness in health care” while also being fiscally prudent.

“A birth is more expensive than an abortion,” said state Rep. Julie McCluskie, D-Dillon and House speaker, during a recent committee hearing. She argued that funding abortions would reduce costs associated with childbirth and subsequent care, positioning the policy as a cost-saving measure for the state.

The proposal, Senate Bill 183, passed the state Senate earlier this month and cleared its first House hurdle this week on a party-line vote, with no Republican support. Democrats, who hold a strong majority in both chambers, estimate the measure could lead to the state funding up to 7,000 abortions annually.

Meanwhile, another legislative effort underscores Colorado’s permissive stance on abortion.

Last week, Democrats blocked a bill that would have imposed regulations on late-term abortion facilities, effectively preserving the state’s policy of allowing abortions up to the moment of birth with no limits. Critics, including pro-life advocates, pointed to the case of Alexis “Lexi” Lynn Arguello, an 18-year-old who died in February from an amniotic fluid embolism following a 22-week abortion at a Planned Parenthood in Fort Collins. Witnesses testified in favor of House Bill 1252, which aimed to enhance safety measures, but it failed to advance.

Opponents argue the measures prioritize cost over human life.

“This is about killing babies to save a buck,” said a spokesperson for Colorado Right to Life, condemning the taxpayer-funding proposal. Data cited by pro-life groups indicate heightened risks in late-term abortions, including a 7.2 deaths per 100,000 rate from amniotic fluid embolism at 21 weeks or later, compared to negligible risks earlier in pregnancy.

This is true. It cheaper to murder all those black kids than pay for welfare.

I am glad they said the the quiet part out loud.

Ok, but at the same time these democrats claim we need illegals here to have babies to increase our population rates. Because everyone knows they pop kids out like crazy, regardless of income.

Diametrically opposed positions.

At least Dems are saying the quiet part out loud. Who are they going to kill next to save a buck? Canada’s assisted suicide program is already killing people for trivial reasons.

Call Congress: (202) 224-3121 U.S. House switchboard operator.

Shakeup Congress on social media.

Message In 2015, shocking videos surfaced detailing Planned Parenthood pocketing illegal profits from trafficking tissue and organs harvested from its core business of aborting babies. Despite two Congressional investigations, and criminal referrals to the Biden DoJ, PP escaped federal charges when the corrupt Biden FBI refused to investigate and the Biden DOJ colluded and declined to prosecute.

Pro-lifers who dared to expose these heinous practices were punished by a Biden-connected PP.

Now Pres Trump confirmed plans to implement a funding freeze that would keep PP from receiving some $20 million out of the nearly $700 million tax dollars Planned Parenthood received in 2024. We demand the government defund the largest child-killing business in America.

I wonder how much it costs to keep Julie McCluskie alive.

Killing most democrat politicians would save money too. Not that I’m advising murder, but on the other hand that is exactly what they are doing by pushing abortion. Whacko freaks.

How low can they go?

“A birth is more expensive than an abortion,” said Democrat state Rep and House speaker, Julie McCluskie, Dem-Dillon, during a recent committee hearing.

She argued that funding abortions would reduce costs associated with childbirth and subsequent care, positioning the policy as a cost-saving measure for the state.

It would be even cheaper if McCluskie was terminated.

Death is the money saving answer, staying alive with a positive quality of life is always expensive. It’s why we work to have enough money. Why did that need to be put into words? That’s the really scary part.

What many Americans voted for in November, 2008:

And Manchurian Candidate Barack Hussein Obama made certain (in Illinois) that any baby that SURVIVED AN ABORTION ATTEMPT was left WITHOUT MEDICAL TREATMENT TO DIE. Obama (in Illinois) blocked BAIPA.

Then there's the "shout your abortion" people...

Why do all the Democrat “good” intentions end up with people dying? It’s seems almost like a sort of plan?

It would save a lot more money to kill them after birth, even a long time after birth, like 20, 30, 50, 80, 100 years after birth.

What am I saying! The Democrats will champion this!

Well there are stats that show that a significant crime drop happened 15 to 20 years after abortion was legalized that attributed it to abortion of black males.

Rep. Julie McCluskie, D-Dillon, having you euthanized is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than allowing you to continue to use value resources.
